ZachThomas Posted July 17, 2021 Report Share Posted July 17, 2021 Nice job, when you are fliping fish and you grab the rod half way up, you lose all the spine in the rod from your hand down. You could potentially break a rod doing that, be safe and use a net. I broke 2 rods from fliping fish. With swimbait rods it doesn’t matter as much. You learn so much from reviewing footage. I always have the net ready, but seem to get caught in the moment. A lot easier when someone else is in the boat and can grind em into the net.
