benczar94 Posted January 18, 2022 Report Share Posted January 18, 2022 Was going over some fish catches from 2021 and found some pictures from time spent targeting big bluegills on tiny swimbaits! Such a blast catching big bull gills on 2.5” swimbaits. One of the afternoons I was out there I got bit, set the hook into a 33” tank of a carp. Took probably over 10 minutes to get in with my bluegill gear. Also pictured is my first 10” gill of the summer on the small swimbait. benczar94 Posted January 19, 2022 Author Report Share Posted January 19, 2022 I know everyone on this platform loves the flat measuring mats but if people are interested you should check out musky bump boards, I use their walleye version and it’s the best measuring board I have ever had.
