Willluvstafish
I got a pack of the Owner 10/0 with the little spinner blade on them. Rigged it in my Nates soft bait and I'm in love with it. The blade spins much better than I expected. That said, when are prime situations to use or not use these hooks. I'm thinking they're good for murkier water.
timcauliffe
I use mine as my primary big bait weedless hook. I had good luck in warmer weather in and around weed beds and just about anywhere you would throw a traditional spinnerbait. 10/0 and 12/0. chevro1et
I remember Matt Allen talking about when to use underspins... iirc he said that when baitfish are schooled up, low light/ low light penetration conditions, and stained water. Basically in situations where you need or want your bait to 'stand out' from the crowd is a prime time to use an underspin. chevro1et
Here's the video I mentioned. Matt is primarily talking about small swimbaits, but I believe that the basic theories carry over to larger ones as well. drewmoniz and Willluvstafish
bigpoppabass
I like little ones for crappie fishing but I have not done much with my bass sized ones. I have heard peeps do well slow rolling em on the bottom. Willluvstafish
SKVMS
Pro point underspins with the screw lock have treated me real good for smallies, durable and works on any soft plastic.
David R
I've read about people switching the spinner part with cheap spinners you can get from Walmart and other places. It will give you more colors to match your bait
