Toy Drive S2 for TRADE
SBboogie619 and 5 others reacted to JIgstickNick02 for a topic
Looking to TRADE this S2 from the Toy Drive. It has solid hangers and is a slow floater. Gets down a few feet then slow rises in colder (high 50s-low 60s). Can put smoke tail back on if the pink doesn't do it for yah. Looking to color swap for a Sexy Shad pattern. S2 from Boxburogh show or similar pattern with some pop. Will also add for a Toy drive or newer Shadley Full Grown. Shoot me a text 405 708 8103 for fastest reply.6 points -

Finally stuck one on the citizen. Was one of the baits that got me into this addiction years ago and it was long overdue for me to get one on a citizen. Lost my Gracely 2 days prior to a catfish and this bass fought similar to the cat so I was unsure until I flipped this girl out of the water cuz she just kept digging. Gonna be one of my most memorable catches. Hopefully I can land some more thanks SU. Follow me on ig at Snacky.98 if you wanna keep up with my catches. Lmk what y’all think she weighs too!!!!!!! Giants! 10lb, 9lb, (3) 8lb and 7lb!!!
Akong1014 reacted to 22RangerZ520R for a topic
Had an amazing trip last week and caught my 5th DD at 10lb even! Also caught a 9lb, three 8lbers and a 7lb (the rest were < 6lb). The 10lb cleared the water a foot right at the boat, it was a fight I won't forget! I've been focused on hunting trophy bass for almost 10 years now and this trip is what makes all the work, time and money worth it! Sorry for all the pics, but I'm a little pumped that God blessed me and the stars lined up...lol.1 point -

Early Winter NJ Staple On The TK
Ayson1j reacted to Mossyback Angler for a topic
While the bass were not cooperating on this dreary, rainy day, this NJ winter fishing staple provided some enjoyment. Fishing a small lake, and working on my cold water DRT Tiny Klash game. I managed to get this nice NJ pickerel to commit, dead walking and pausing the slightly weighted TK past the tip of a lay down tree. When winter hits the Garden State, and the water temps drop, you can always count on a pickerel for some enjoyment when the bass won’t show themselves. Chris~~~1 point -
Been dialing in a big swim bait bite for big walleyes the last few Novembers. Really seems to catch me big ones in water temps below 40 degrees right up until ice up. This day was 37 degree water temp. A big mark came up out of 13’ of water and smoked my bait mid column. It was a short intense fight and I got her in the net. 29” long 11 pounds and so round! It got a healthy release, I just put her in the well for a minute while I set up my camera.1 point

Cookai vs Blackjack vs Valkyrie World Expedition 711XH vs Casino
208Glide reacted to Bassmann86 for a topic
I’ve had the cookai and the blackjack. The cookai is lighter, softer, crisper and more refined rod than the blackjack. The k9 felt really good on the cookai but I wouldn’t push it much heavier that that though.1 point -

Giants! 10lb, 9lb, (3) 8lb and 7lb!!!
Habitual_lip_ripper reacted to 22RangerZ520R for a topic
Appreciate it sir. Yeah, I always plan my trips around the full and new moons and I always try and go during the week, not on weekends. It's a thin line to balance as far as wanting to post about your success and get "recognition"/atta-boys (which I'm guilty of since I posted about this trip) vs keeping it to yourself to avoid drawing attention to the lakes, etc. I've recently thought about stepping away from social media and not posting for a while. I blur everything in my backgrounds or get very close to the shoreline so there isn't anything that gives away where I'm at in the background. I've preached that to several people who fish the areas I do, but it has fallen on deaf ears. Their desire to be cool and post everything C2C, etc to "gain clout" in the swimbait community outweighs the value of keeping others off the lakes you fish. Here's a pic of my boat in action this past trip, lol:1 point -

LDC SI rod
208Glide reacted to KeepinItReelFishing for a topic
I see no mention on the LDC site regarding the SI's taper. I prefer more parabolic rods. I own a White Label XH, and have used White Labels in the ML and H variants. For the longest time the White Labels were listed as slow taper as part of their product description. Starting last year the description now states they are moderate. I don't now whats up with that, but it concerns me as that slow taper was highly unique in the market. Once you have chosen the power rating you need, IMO taper is everything, followed very distantly by balance. So, I'm eager to know what the taper characteristics are of these SI units. For anyone who has already ordered one, when you receive it can you compare it to whatever else you have so as to paint some sort of picture of the dynamics of the rod? Thank you! -Carl1 point -
