Lost a FS Shad to bass, heavy timber, I knew there was a fish there. She grabbed it and before I could yank her up, she wrapped me in the trees. Now for salt water....... Wake Jr=shark Wake Jr=shark 8inch Real Deal, not sure but pretty sure a Jack, reel was screaming, broke me off along ship channel boulders. There's others, I just can't recall. For the salt big dogs, there is no locking drag, there to powerful and something's gonna give........but hey that's fishing right

You know it's funny the Triple Camo topic popped up. I never had a problem with it until recently. I Broke off twice in 2 different trips while casting. At first I thought I might have chipped one of the Sic's. You know how damn hard it is looking for a Trout Floater Freestyle on open water with 15mph winds? I thought for sure i'd troll right up to it, took me almost a damn hour. I was more worried one of these paparazzi fishermen claim my open water secret

I have no complaints about Brocks work. My first custom caught me plenty of fish, salt and fresh. After so many fish the paint did start to come off. He stood behind his word and repainted it. After almost a year of the same abuse, it's holding true. I just needed a silverish/chromish color for the salt.

Congrats, Theres just something special about catching fish on swimbaits. You can catch a nice chunk on a jig, no big deal. Catch that same fish on a swimbait and you damn near feel like you hit the lottery, well thats how I feel at least.

Congrats on the Kenobi Special. Ben creates an amazing rod. I had to get adjusted to mine at first. When Id go to rip a freestyle, it damn near would come back flying at me. It's a supercharged rod. I kinda feel bad for some of the smaller fish, I set the hook and it's like they have a rocket in there ass as they come flying out the water.

Ha no I'm fishing out of a 16ft flat, but from the looks of my pics it looks like a tube. I always wanted to try the tube thing, but to Many mutant water lizards swimming around for my liking. Haven't done a report in a good while. Shitty weather, cold, wind.....my favorite I had these pics on my phone as my friend wasn't able to make the trip, so I'd catch one, and send him the pic. Thats a great idea Rock, you ever toss these at any saltwater game? I bet a red would nail one. Ha nope, but I do love tossing Hollow belly frogs in the slop, and I have caught reds on them. Gets the heart pumping, until I see that red flash damn reds fool me everytime. Like when Im tossing the FS along grass lines, then you see/hear this explosion, only to realize its a red. There fun but when i'm in bass mode, those reds make you think you have a state record bass

Dammit Dave you weren't supposed to talk about this frog I still have a few packs, once they get a tad torn up, I'll shorten the legs up, add a 1once pitching weight and punch the canes with it.

Im a beleiver in the palomar, with 25-30lb Triple Fish. Its handled everything from bass, sharks, bull reds and even damn gators. But you do waste a lot of line, If your anal like me, I retie after a few fish and have to respool more often. But every knot thats been listed is proven
