  7. dude, where do you get the $$$$$$$$$$$$$ for this stuff?
  8. have never had a problem with the uni to uni splice. People say it's not good? I have found no evidence so far to support these claims.
  9. Great picture spooky. One of the better yak set-ups that I have ever seen. What's a rig like that cost + what brand is it? Your leg is in the way. BTW no New England 10+ LM for me. My PB is 9.2lbs. The yak in picture is a Malibu X-factor, very wide and stable. Not the fastest but great for fishing. Nice C-bass spook, that is a mamoth! Oh, last DD was end of feb 2010. I'll be back out there soon hopefully with pics this time.

    Gator?

Just remember the vast majority of people who get bit are the ones who go mucking around with the snake. Even a dead or decapitated snake can still bite you. Aggressive or not, a venomous snake never wants to bite, its a last resort.
  11. I'll post my out of the box bait when I'm finished with my updated version. And yes Mick, fish definitely eat weird ish they have never seen. That I can vouch for on this one lol!

    Gator?

snakes aren't going to hurt anyone nor gators. If they were that dangerous, people would be in trouble all the time. People just fear what they don't understand, no reason to go around killing them. And I'm a hunter, not a tree hugger...... Just no seance in needlessly killing animals in their habitat. Let them move out of your way and they will, or maybe just leave them be. Bees kill far more people every year than snakes and gators.
  13. cool looking bait, but its kind of a rip on two diff baits at once..... Maybe not? I could care less. Just make what you want, for yourself, that's what I do.
  14. maxima ulragreen/ moss green power pro
  15. I spent most of the last years fishing throwing my own homemade stuff. This both, helped me catch fish and not catch fish. The I caught a lot less fish but the ones I got were much more rewarding. I caught more fish over five this year than any other, but I also spent more time chucking the big stuff. For 2011, all I really want to do is buy a boat!
  16. when can we see the new?? We've all got hungry eyes!
  17. Ill troll when the wind is blowing just right and pushes the boat in the right direction at the right speed. Its worked pretty well for me with hudds
  18. First big bait fish was a 5lber on the MS Slammer at night. Back in the days when calfishing, Rob Belloni, and the slammer were breaking new ground. I remember, I was working at dominos pizza and going to high school when the first batch of huddleston deluxes hit tacklewarehouse, I got one of course (before they sold out for months and months and months). I was super exited to get out and try it, it looked so much more real than anything I'd ever seen. I had just bought a calcutta 400 for the super low price of $30 and was ready to start really swimbaiting. Unfortunately, that calcutta I got such a good deal on had no level wind. Any how, I took that fresh new hudd to the lake for her maiden run and began casting away. I was in disbelieve at how real the bait looked in the water, confidence was soaring. I was going to catch a big fish for sure. Then I went to make a hail mary of a cast over to a nice looking spot and my reel with no level wind backlashed. I heard a loud snap and watched my hopes and dreams fly through the air and land out in the middle of the abyss never to be seen again. I've had a love hate relationship with swimbaiting ever since. I'm sure we all have, but the good times always outweigh the bad and so we continue this circle of madness! And wouldn't have it any other way!
  19. Hahah that was me today out in the rain, only no fish
  20. wheres the scales on those little BAs?
  21. How many of you guys/gals throw the big topwater this time of year? I know the more typical winter baits get deep and move slow, like a hudd. I have gotten them in Feb on the top but never in Dec or Jan. I know it is possible, I just lack the confidence to do it as much as I want to. GGR, is the BA still your go to bait this time of year? Thanks guys Eric
  22. bank accounts all across the board trembling! Good thing I'm back at work lol!
