Congratulations! Your life will never be the same. You can have a terrible day but when you see your child smile at you, you quickly forget how bad it was. Make sure you take care of the wifey too during the pregnancy. You may miss a few more fishing days but it will go a long way in the future! Again, congrats!

I'm with you Bronzeback as I've missed the past 4 releases now. UGH! My timing has just been off every time on the releases whereas before when it was announced, I could arrange my schedule and usually get a bait or two. Now when the site says..."More Coming Soon", what does that mean Mickey? In the near future, in the coming weeks or in the coming months? These pesky largemouth are wondering when they get to eat something new?

Actually, after some thought, I think you better keep the releases unannounced Mickey. I have noticed there have probably been less complaints this way than the other way.

I actually like the old way that Mickey's baits were released since then, I didn't have to check the site 3 or 4 times a day to see if they were up. In giving no warning, I've missed the past 3 releases even though I've been constantly checking the site. The teaser was seeing that they were up without the 'SOLD' logo on and then going to check out to see that they were no longer available! UGH! I know it's hard to find a solution that makes everyone happy but at least the old way, I could plan a little for it. Still, I'm happy for those guys that did get baits and I know Mickey has gone out of his way for all of us (including me) on some special releases so although I missed out this time, I'm appreciative that I have some great 3:16 baits to fish with. Keep em' coming Mickey! I'll keep clicking away!

Mickey and Jo, sorry Ben hasn't gotten you your rods yet and I'm guessing it's because he's been building two of mine! I just sent him a pic of my first bass on his XH LDC (nothing big but it's a start! ) AND my first bass on a 6 inch freestyle so I'm pretty stoked right now. I had one other bite last night (just slurped it down!) and the fish felt much bigger but he got off as I was bringing him in. I'll try and get him later on tonight! Keep up the great work Ben and honestly speaking, I really feel I am a better fisherman with the LDCs. Ben will tell you I'm a huge Gloomis and Shimano guy but I have not been able to create the kind of action and movement that I wanted with some of Mickey's baits until now! Thanks Ben for taking the time and sorry Mickey and Jo. I'm sure you'll have your rods soon! And Ryan, congrats on your LDC rod!

I was fishing my hudd 68 today and got absolutely slammed by a largemouth around 7 lbs or so that had been following it all the way in on my retrieve! I set the hook of course and then fought it for maybe 2 seconds before it splashed a couple of times and the hook came out! I couldn't believe it! Now I always change out the hooks on my hudds and have never had a problem keeping a fish hooked when rigged similar to Butch's way. But I was excited about trying the new lure and so I didn't re-rig it before I went out. For those that have fished the 68 special, are you changing these hooks out too even though it's only a 6 inch bait? Would that apply to the regular 6 inch hudd too? If so, what size treble are you using? Man that was a nice fish!! I don't think I'll be sleeping much tonight...

I hear ya' Jake! I'll be joining you in this group really soon! Ben has been great to work with and very patient too. I don't have my rods yet but they'll be done this month. I sold almost all my other swimbait rods so I can't wait to get these LDC rods! No voodoo for me though! A blessing of good times, great fellowship and lots of fun fish tugging on the ends of these rods will be fine by me!
