  1. I really like that red and white Slammer.
  2. Great fish! That's a cool looking bait!
  3. I used the Tarpon 120 for the last few years before upgrading to a Hobie this winter. They're great. Look for deals; I got mine at EMS when they were running a 30% off sale. As far as a box for storage just mount pvc pipes or plastic rod holders on a milk crate and you're good to go.
  4. That might be bigger than my 1st on the Slammer. Once you get a few giant topwater blowups, you'll find it easier to fish the Slammer.
  5. Awesome report! I've had a rattling punker sitting in the box for years - I need to crack it open and give it a try.
  6. Nice fish! Congrats on the PB!
  7. Wow, those are some great pics! Nice fish too.
  8. I've had a C4 for a few years and really like it. Tough to beat for the money. It casts really well, holds a lot of line, and is pretty rugged. I have nothing bad to say about it.
  9. I just got a couple baits in the mail. Great communication, everything was packaged nicely, and I was given a tracking number. Super easy transaction!
  10. Cool, I'm in Seekonk. For one reason or another, I've never timed it right there during the spring herring run, but I've done well for myself in the summer and fall there the last couple seasons.
  11. That looks great! Where are you at in MA? I'm about 5 minutes from the pond in the first pic.
  12. I've had a few kayaks over the years. The last few seasons I've fished out of a Tarpon 120 but over the winter I upgraded to a Hobie Revolution 13.
  13. Those are some nice slabs! They totally beat my one and only swimbait crappie.
  14. Sorry, it is sold. Everything is gone except for the Baby Wake.
  15. Great vid! I'm jealous that you're out there in a t-shirt. All the ponds around me are still frozen.
  16. All prices include shipping. Buy more than one bait and we can work out a lower price. 9" Diving/crankdown Slammer - Shad - lightly used $50 Baby Wake - white ice - lightly used - $65 JSJ Gill - floater - used-small chip on back - $40 8" Huddleston - ROF 12 - hitch - new - $25 Hudd 68 - ROF 5 - brown hitch - new $25 Hudd 68 - ROF 5 - albino - new $25
  17. I've been there a couple times - it catches me off guard and scares the piss out of me every time. As for the bats, I've never had them attack my line, but I have that them chase baits while they're in the air during a cast.
  18. The stock hooks on them are absolute trash. I cut the stock hooks off (I don't like unscrewing and reattaching the hangers - I think it weakens them a great deal) and add split rings and new hooks. I really like the short shank KVD triple grips for them. They don't work in freshwater.
  19. There are a few musky lure makers that have some cool baits. I really like the Smity Skuttlebug. There's also a through-wired version made for stripers here on the east coast called the Sea Fly. I've done OK night fishing that on ponds too. I have a Jitterfish, but I don't think I've ever thrown it - I'll have to change that this summer.
