From the album: Maxwell S. - Year 2015

One of several great days from the shore. She and three other toads hit on a warm sunny day in March. They were pushing trout up against the shore on a saddle point. This one went 7.3 on the digital.

One of the few times I have actually stuck one from a boat. She got stuck on a long cast in 4 foot of water in 54 degree water. Crazy winter bite!
  3. Hey SU! Got into a couple more solid ones at the tail end of spring. These girls were still fat and healthy, they also hit like it was early spring *tick* First one was solid and went 7-14 Using a Dobyn's 867 paired with a Lexa 300 and a Baitsmith Magnum. Lately my catches have been coming on back to back casts, so stoked to get this one as well! Number 2 went 6-9 on the digital.
  4. *EDIT* Price includes shipping.
  5. Hey SU, Selling my Dobyn's Mike Long 806 Swimbait Rod. I bought this rod brand a couple of months ago. It's a great hard bait rod for 10" TT, Punker, 250, ect. I don't need this anymore though. Besides 2 hook marks its 9.5/10. Used 2 trips. Asking $200 firm. Buyer must cover shipping. Thanks all, feel free to text me at: 661-364-4144
  6. Thanks man, I know I will regret this day a while! Ha
  7. First time catching a swimbait limit worth sharing. 3rd cast BOOM! Solid fish, I didn't bring a scale, but I have a fair idea of the size of the fish that day. Used a Dobyn's 867, Shimano 300 TE, and a ROF 5 Top Hook Hudd. In order of being caught, and after talking with many people about the weights, I have a good estimate of how much they weighed: 8lbs 7lbs BIG GIRL!!! Worst day to not know, but this thing was 26" long and was fat, I am pretty sure it was at least nine. So I am making it my unofficial PB. Caught to more smaller ones, 5 and a 4!
  8. Thanks man, it is actually a Calcutta 300 TE. But close enough.

    Maxwell S. - PB

Hopefully this will be updated more often, but finally broke my PB. Got this big/skinny girl on a ROF 5 Hudd. 8-13 on two digital scales.
  10. Threw the Huddleston ROF 5 Top Hook, turned out they were eating trout that day. All came within 3 hours on one spot. Not bad for a guy shore pounding it. Plus a new PB at 8-13, I swear it looked like a DD until I got it on shore and was anorexic. The other two were 7-3 and 7-10! Best day of swimbaiting for to date!
  11. Congrats again! Great fish!
  12. These videos inspire me to keep chucking!
  13. Awesome congrats on your repossession! You are lucky it was you, cause I had a buddy loose a DERPS and a week later we found that some shore fisherman found it and kept it.
  14. December 21st, 12 AM... I am counting down the hours with every voodoo charm out there....
  15. Not expecting for this to last... But still! I actually caught one during the tourney! Caught the fish early in the morning then weighed it with the code when we were packing up.
  16. I don't get our much, so this girl was a welcome adrenaline rush today. Rod: LDC Custom XH Reel: Calcutta 300 TE Bait: ROF 12 "8 Hudd She went 7.26 on the scale, one of my bigger fish on the swimmy...
  17. Awesome video man! A calico trip is on my bucket list now!
