  1. Lightly used Hero 4 Silver edition includes 5 batteries, charger, head strap, suction cup mount, and an assortment of mounts. Asking $300 tyd.
  2. https://www.huddbaits.com/store/tophook-bluegill just saw this posted on FB. What is the difference between this and the old one? Wonder if the swim is fixed?
  3. Dang. I really wanted to get one of these. They look so good, but I just can't see dropping $50 on a pair of them knowing that I will have to Frankenstein rig them to run right and the harness pops out often. Do the newer ones have less problems?
  4. Matt posted up on FB to hold off and he would start releasing small batches. They should start trickling in. I was lucky enough to grab one on black friday, but would like to grab a backup. They are nice looking baits.
  5. I have been ultra impressed with it so far. I have used it for whopper plopper 130s, a-rigs, glide baits and jointed baits up to 3oz, and even an ROF 5 8" Hudd. It feels lighter in the hand than the Champion counterpart, although I still like the short handle on the Champ SBMT 795.
  6. So, is it the same fix for both of the ROF's? I have been wanting to pick one up for a grassy lake I fish, but have been ultra wary to drop $25 after all the problems I have seen.
  7. Tony Yang's Fatback glide shad. I haven't fished it really, but I got to swim it a good bit in a small lake this summer and was really, really impressed with how well it swam.
  8. I kayaked a section of the Coosa River looking to try my new carp hugger shad and some other new arrivals. The hard bait bite never really materialized as I only boated one smaller spot on the 6" bull shad, so I switched over to the carp hugger and withing 10 minutes had 5 pound class spotted bass come off at the boat. I ended up losing 3 or 4 smaller fish that never really got a good shot on the bait and stuck another nice spot similar to the first on that I lost. I was fishing a swift section of shoals that was no more than 2-3 feet deep on moost places. The big fish came out from behind a boulder I buzzed the bait past and chased it down from behind, swallowing it tail first. Unfortunately, the fish ended up ripping a hole in the tail section due to the way it ate it and waded the rear of the bait up on the hook. It still swam fine despite it and the maker is sending me some silicone to fix it. A few thoughts on the carp hugger: -it is a very tall bait, so smaller mouthed species may have trouble getting a good shot on it -swims really, really well in swift current -very durable despite freak tear -nice profile and paint scheme
  9. I can't guide you on your other rod choices, but for Dobyns. The 795 handles up to 3oz well, the 806 4 oz well, the 807 5-6oz well, the 867 will handle 6-7oz. You also need to figure out which baits from those manufacturers. Deps, mattlures, and roman mades all make various sizes. If you are looking for baits in the Deps 250 size/weight range I would go for the 867. The Deps 250 really pushes the 807.
  10. Pm sent on 250. I'll take it if it hasn't been snatched up.
  11. Glideator, hiroshima paint job, small crack in tail was epoxied when I bought it. It hasnt given me a problem. $60 TYD
  12. Oh man. I wish we had decent parks like that. When my little boy gets that age I want to get him out in the stroller. Nice report.
  13. SPEED is most likely correct. I should just let it die, but I want to at least explain my stance one time. Listen, there are some legit guys that I truly respect, like David and Travis and SPEED, that support Randall and I understand why. I’m not aiming at you guys and my comments aren’t directed towards anyone but Randall and his posse. This is just an explanation as to why I take the stance I do. I don't run around doing damage control for Mike, but I stick up for his baits when Randall or someone with an agenda knocks the bait with no proof. Mike v. Randall has been going on since 2009 and I have tried to stay out of it as much as I can, but here are the facts coming from Georgia where it all went down: -Randall has been kicked out of multiple forums and bass clubs for his lying and obsession with hounding Mike -Mike gave Randall some baits, Randall pimped the crap out of them, then all of sudden came out with a bait that looked like Mikes...knockoff artist. He claims Mike stole his design, but why would you pimp someone’s bait if they stole your design???? -Here is Randall pimping the crap out of them before he suddenly came up with his own bait: http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/asp_reports ... ?id=149235 http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/asp_reports ... ?id=146839 http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/asp_reports ... ?id=149413 http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/asp_reports ... ?id=149987 http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/asp_reports ... ?id=150507 http://www.wmi.org/bassfish/asp_reports ... ?id=151802 -Here in Georgia we call Randall the "sculpey bandit" for his gift at modding with clay and knocking off Mike’s baits -Another example of Randall being a knockoff artist: Mike came out with a herring bait and Randall tried to knock that one off too. Here are the proto's his dumb buddy accidentally put up on social media. Randall will now claim that Mike stole his design, but...how do you steal something that didn't exist yet? (Randall will chime in with some b.s. story about how he had protos waaaay back that were stolen or something with modling the baits. So, if Randall’s M.O. is to bash Mike, why didn’t he call him out when Mike released the herring last year?) -Facepunch is just another dude with an agenda: he is butt hurt because Mike wouldn't trade him a bull shad for one of his hand carved rodents -Randall came on here the last argument saying Mike had his buddies all write good reviews on TW.com as damage control, but he was too dumb to realize TW sporadically releases reviews in chunks. Pathological liar -The swivels crap doesn’t make any sense for your argument and all Mike’s baits are 100% guaranteed, so if it broke it was replaced for free -The shockboat photo was a dumb mistake by Mike, but Randall has twisted the story and uses it as his marketing device; PM me if you want the real story On a national forum, you only hear one side of a story. Around the southeast, Georgia especially, few people like Randall and most people like Mike. The reason has nothing with free baits, bait sales, hype or discounts. Mike isn’t going to come on here because this exact argument has gone down on 5 or 6 other forums. That is why Mike doesn’t even bother talking about it. If you don’t like Mike because of his mistake with the shockboat, hey, I don’t blame you, but I forgave him for it. His baits aren’t even close to pretty, but they are bomb proof. Only two Gen 2’s have ever been warrantied for breakage and in both cases the steel hook eye, not the resin, sheared off. Randall likes to act like some kind of small business, ‘merican saint, but he has a posse of friends who he gets to post the same attacks everywhere with no proof, no pics, just internet drama. I don’t post much on here or SN because I like using FB more than forums, so I guess I do look a bit lurk-ish; I just don’t post a ton. My beef isn’t with anyone who doesn’t like the bait, doesn’t want the bait, or dislikes Mike. It doesn’t affect me if lots of people buy his bait or no one buys the bait or someone doesn’t like Mike, my beef is just with Randall and his buddies that have been saying the same tired stuff over and over since 2009 and calling me out. I own and fish with just about every bait out there, tripple trouts, hudds, ragos, r2s, mattlures, lunker punker, and the bull shad is just the one I use the most for the shad eaters here in GA and AL. Seriously, feel free to pm me for any questions, but that is my stance on it. I just wanted my side of the story heard.

    Ol Nezzy

Nezzy is still on my wish list to get one day.
  15. I tried it, but even a small #4 felt too big on it. The stock jig hook is fine and I see absolutely no need for it.
  16. Stripers in southern rivers don't act like your schoolies. Post up some pics of his Gen 2 baits that have failed.
  17. ^^^^^Complete Bull Sh*t I have been fishing the Gen 2s for the last 3 years for striped bass in rivers with current. They have never failed me with a 25# river run striper in 3000cfs with the drag locked down. Every bait maker has some haters.
  18. Works for me in GA, AL and TN for big striper, spots and largemouth.
  19. I picked up 1 off the r2s site in warden color. Im pretty impressed by how solid it feels and it has a nice profile.
