  1. Nice! Ya got lots of options of places to fish in your area...Assunpink, Manasquan, several good lakes(ponds) right outside Camden(Audubon), Haddon Lake(chain), and not too far north, Round Valley, and Hoptacong. PA too, if you're interested, just over the river(not too mention the river). Time to google earth it!
  2. Not a sit-on-top, so make sure you fit, and are comfortable. Along that same line, there's not alot of space for gear either.
  3. I just don't understand why they wouldn't have extended the lumber on the roof? Quick question though in general, from the picture that shows the interior of your truck, why manufacturers have started putting, from my CJ days, what we called "oh sh*t bars" on the driver sides of vehicles?
  4. Can I take this moment to give props to the No Bull...I have had them for two weeks, and they have caught the three biggest fish this season so far. The fish just pound it!
  5. Hmmmm...Looked at that map, got my CO Gazetteer out, hmmmm...how many lakes in the Denver Metro have good populations of Smallies....hmmmm, turns out, not that many.
  6. That's no record...that's a five pounder and that guy is a midget!(excuse me, "little person").
  7. OK, now she's back in the water...where is she swimming...so I can have a crack at her, maybe in a year, so she can push my PB scale...LOL.
  8. Please don't turn this into a debate about control guys...respect for those that have been injured and killed, and their families. Thank you. (Feel free to start another topic though, I, like everyone else want all opinions to be heard.)
  9. Condolences to those affected by the horrorific shooting in Aurora CO. I know we have some members from the area,(Marbles?), hope they and their families are safe. Hopefully fishing rather than going to the movies. Tragic, prayers go out to all involved...
  10. No Mike Iconelli here, and I know you have audio, but most of all, LOVE your girl in the one vid, bam! you hook up, she's quick, out of the way, reels in, stows her rod in a safe outta the way place, and grabs the net...MAN! you got a keeper there!
  11. Here's another "dumb" question...does anyone use these "Delta Reds" anywhere other than on the Delta, and have success? I always wondered about this too, I just assumed the Delta had some sort of "red" baitfish.

Good looking dogs! Where I'm at, my yellow(white) was for goose hunting in the snow, my chocolate did early season, and boat duty. Having had all three colors(4 total dogs), chocolates seem to have the best demeanor(trainability), yellows the most energy, blacks dedication and drive. Having had 4 labs, two goldens, and a chesapeake, I will never buy another gun dog unless it's a lab.(In the market for a new one now...)
  13. Noone here uses, or has tried a Contour? I thought, next to the GP it would have been the next logical choice. I'm stuck with the Sony, but it's lack of waterproofness has me camera shy about using it, especially since I fish out of a 'toon 50% of the time. Last winter when boarding BC, I bumped into a guy using one, gave me a long speel about why it was superior to the GP, but I have yet to see, or hear of anyone else using it...
  14. Can still make your own...6" and 8" Nightstalkers still available...
  15. I'm glad I didn't listen to some who said it was going to be like a 3:16 release. I feel so lucky(probably almost as good as if I got in on a 3:16 release, LOL). I got mine, but I don't overstock like some do, I wish I had known the trouble some were having, I would have bought more. Putting a limit on soft plastics like this seems ridiculous, but maybe Ken needs to put these into full production now. Good luck on the next release guys(Labor Day?). *Sorry Darth, the Nightstalker 68's were never sold out until today...
  16. Effective sunblock? Try a tan.
  17. "If it crawls, walks, runs, slithers, swims, or flys...it dies, and I'll eat it." my motto, but mostly whitetail, and waterfowl(honkers with a special zeal) here in PA(really miss my Elk and Muley's in CO). Haven't hunted ducks since I lost my two dogs, but, I to, am picking up a new Lab the end of this week.

I really shouldn't get into this...but, I can't help myself. We should try to support companies that manufacture their goods in the U.S.A., but don't expect to be able to pick up that 5 pack of boxers for 5 bucks that you got at Walmart from any U.S. manufacturer. There are some goods that will never be produced in this country ever again. Support local business every chance you get, buy locally, if we, each, only made a mere 10% change in our buying habits we would create millions(yes millions) more jobs in the U.S.. The best place to start, is not with fishing(but good luck with that), but food. It's the quickest way to grow your local economy. Second, don't blame government, or schools, or business, for this problem...blame yourselves, the consumers. Consumers drive this economy of ours. We(the consumers) create the jobs, not the "job creators"(the rich), or small business, or government. If there is no consumer demand, there are no jobs, period. Third,(and the touchiest), Unions, don't blame Unions(although problems exist), only a small portion of the private workforce is made up of unionized workers. The rise, and decline of unions is directly tied to that of the middle-class. As unions decline, so does the percentage of wealth in relation to GDP, that is held by the middle-class also. So in conclusion, I hope I don't piss anyone off, but the problem is you, if you want to change things, good, start with yourself, and your buying habits. Educate yourself, and stop listening to the hype, and the "talking heads" on TV, THINK FOR YOURSELVES!
  19. Glad you're alright Speed. Just went through the same thing on the 4/15, t-boned by some kid trying to sneak up on his bro with no lights and flying at 9 pm. Officer/accident reconstructionist said there would have definitely been two fatalities if my kids and wife were in the car. Dealing with the insurance company is the difficult part,(and he had the same company as me). They started to give me a hard time until I started giving them the list of fishing gear in the car...long story short, I got all I wanted, and a little more. Good Luck.
  20. 60/40 split, on the water with yak, canoe, toon, and boat and the shore(only usually on quick jaunts, or small ponds). Definitely prefer being on the water.
  21. I was going to say Hudd 68's, in perch, the Musky's and Pickerel around here love 'em, just be prepared to loose 'em.
  22. Just a Tragedy, low down dirty shame, such a waste...get the R.O.V. out!
  23. I don't bed fish, and in my state it's illegal, (also illegal to use trout as bait), but I don't bed fish and never have not because of the "stress" it might cause the adults, but because of offspring survival. When you yank the fish protecting those eggs, and fry, off their beds and the predators move in how does that help future bass population? But just like C&R(which I practice also), to each their own, and is there any scienitific evidence that bed fishing affects adult and offspring survival negatively? Just like C&R, which isn't such a cut and dry policy when it comes to fish health, and populations, maybe bedfishing isn't so cut and dry, and might come down to each fisherman's personal belief, or choice, and not scienitific evidence.
