alos had this one repainted by brock.Looked great but i don't know just didn't perform the same as original.Paint was thicker heavier.Just wasn't the same fluid action at least in my mind.Looked great but just something about it i wasn't comfortable with.May have just been me though.No confidence in it

It swam more to one side kind of leaned.Paint was also alot thicker so it didn't float as well as my others.Also hinges were kind of tight think when he took apart to repaint joints that he forced them in alittle too much or may have used something else may have broke original pins and replaced.Also it has replaced homemade tail.Don't think it really affected it too much but alot thinner of plastic or lexan used that is forsure.

Thanks Dave, Yeah i agree i too love and would use hinge style.And again it would be hard to not look familiar trying to make the most realistic bait possible cause all gills and shads trout look the same lol.Well here is my repaint 8in fs trout looks similar to one in pic but its not.I think JFish painted it and was just a test job.So he sold it too me cheap and told me about it and all that so i didn't get ripped off or anything.Repaint did mess with action and paint just peeled off and turned yyellow with cheap clear coating.Hope this helps.But look at lines and scales and patterns looks just like yours in pic

+1 both have time and place.Have had many bites on gills in summer months and same for trout. Honestly just have to work bait and put in right spot.Anybait will just about catch fish but getting it in right spots and working it the way they want it is the hard part.I personally like gill baits for my area casue we are a non trout fed lake.Gills are stacked in lakes round here and it is main forage for alot of places.But trout is something diffrent that they haven't seen so alot of times think that truely helps aswell.Hell fish them both can't go wrong with eitherone honestly Good luck

Please understand i would never wanna start a drama fest or anything like that.I truely think morgans baits look amazing and sure he is a great guy and all that. But in my opinion he took fs idea and made his own interpritation of it.Same for the shad concept.I understand it isn't same measurements or weights but you honestly can't tell me that 3:16 came out with fs styel baits then all of a sudden these baits come out just a tweek here and there.Hey if that is what you do and it works then hey more power too ya.I am not Mickeys Boy or Morgans enemy just calling it like i see it.I think morgans gill for price is excellent PLUS available so big UP in my department.I truely Don't wanna down Morgan lures in anyway when i said Knockoff kind of came out wrong honestly meant more of same concept or idea.Again Morgan LUres if you read or anyone who is interesed in Morgan baits please don't let this persuade you from getting one.It was just brought up in thread that is was an imitation and Morgan styel bait came closest to what i could think of to a fs style or could be mistaken for bait.Again No DISRESPECT MORGAN BAITS OR ASSOCIATES :)And would never say Morgan would advetise as 3:16 amyways back to original thread looks like 3:16 just redone terribly i have a pic of mine just can't post to large so will work on getting it up and let you see what a bad repaint on 3:16 will turnout like Thanks SU and sorry if i said anything wrong or disrespected anyone never my intention

The bait looks nothing like a freestyle bluegill? At all? I'm holding it in my hand, 100% different dimensions and swim. My comment was it looks like the fs gill but weird...... it has same hinges basically same bait but cheap knockoff.Now if all the baits that fella makesa aren't basic knocloffs of 3:16 then you have no idea what the hell your on about.. Of coarse dimensions are alittle diff swim alittle diff but basically the same bait with tiny adjustments.Tell ya what guys who read this and know about the gill i'm talking about tell me what you think?if they are made after one another of two completely diffrent concepts.

See that is why mickey on here always used to say if you repaint he won't work or replace anything on it.Go and look at other fs trouts and look at markings all the same.Like i said i guarantee someone repainted it sanded in couple spots and had to take apart to repaint put stainless pins back in.Now action is destroyed and looks cheap as hell.I bought one along time ago on here for $80 bucks but i knew it was a repaint.Ended up on bottom of the lake but no loss for me lol.Seen other trout swimbaits on other forum and one was a 10in shad looked just like fs shad except huge and weird looking,The maker is from georgia>also makes a gill just like the fs gill but weird.anyways that is my 2 cents but hell what do i know.

Is that true or? shad is next and gill after that? Damn wish 10in sport would come on hell gonna be too old and weak to throw the damn thing before its ever released

don't know if it is a knock off or just god aweful repaint somebody tried to do.Has all the markings of a (real)bait as far as i can tell from pics but hey you never never know.

Man this guy is truely a great guy to have on this site.If he says hes gonna do something he makes sure that he does it fast,honest and as quick as he can possible.Done cash deal with him(don't suggest everyone do this or advertise)but if you guys come to agreement and trust and all that well lets just say for us it workedout.If anyone ever needs voucher for scottieb hit me up and i will put my two cents into it cause this fella is what a lot of guys should be like.Again thanks scottieb and if you ever need anything just let me know thanks brotha DBirdtn

Just checked there website and they have mother silencers and tripe mother silencers for $10 bucks hope this helps i know you had homeade ones and couldn't find any so nothing beats the real thing.Great review and vids

Now that boat is bad as-. That is definately something that is soon gonna be in my future.Pefrect size and does everything it needs to do and more.Would love a big fancy boat but something like this will get in and out of just about anywhere and hell i really wouldn't use big engine as much as most.Great job and awesome boat
