  1. lol its a bait made by R2S, probably cracked on the tackle shop wall as for flying, my baits survived the flight to spring bape 2015, i think youll be more than ok
  2. couple of things the fish seemed pretty hot for it , i dont think the extra twitches were all that necessary. When you throw in that twitch the bait is gunna dart and the hooks are gunna tuck under the belly. ( see pic ) Now the fish opens its mouth and has the head of the bait in its mouth but the problem is your hook points will go into the outside of the fishes face (see pic) side note: that fish didnt come out of nowhere. that point breaks off into about 30ft depending on how much water they pump in/out *cough* current direction *cough* that day and the whole right pocket is a big flat where they push bait into. simply placing the boat where your bait landed and casting towards deeper water, you could have possibly landed this fish. im no longer living in Arizona so im open to sharing anything i learned while down there, shoot me a pm if you feel like it just my 0.02 Austen
  3. sick! on a floater too! love me some topwater bites
  4. glide baits will definitely work. imagine the pad line as a slalom course. running that bait in and out of the shade is a great way to get a fish to bite
  5. i personally like bass palm or bass wrist
  6. how the hell did you get the other hook off first?

Met up with member Ceaser to go toss some baits in the late afternoon/evening. We both had our chance at several better sized fish but our time was still productive. Dobyns 795 SB ML Daiwa z200 Toxic Baits Slow Sink "Crank N Wake" 20# PF i'm 6'3" @ 220 so you be the judge

  9. You dont need a specific "swimbait" rod to throw those gills. They are small and very light and should be thrown with conventional MH/H casting rods IMO. I started with a dobyns 795 SB and it was overkill. I have em paired with my dobyns 784 and 764 it works very well.
  10. you guys need to keep in mind that the shape of the original bill makes it so effective. Slapping any coffin, round, square type bill on it will alter how it swims. sure it will wake but it might not be the right action my 0.02
  11. I have been throwing my big rats (4+ ounces) on a 8' 4" LDC XH and the smaller rats (under 3oz) on a dobyns 795
  12. I didnt for care for how the email was worded, "We have it down now." There were a lot of baits, including my own, that had the indentation from molding and harness issues. Just seemed like they rushed the first batch. Cool bait. My 0.02
  13. check out the small rising sons and ospreys, both top hook and line thrus. Iv had days where they flat out want that osprey over a hudd and vis versa. Those boot tails get over looked by a lot of people and they get bit, especially by smallies and spots. Downsizing to a small 5" or 6" paddle tail on a lead head is a great bet too. i like the keitechs, basstrix, and CRL WSTs
  14. i think there were more than that

  16. New bearings and washers just installed $65
  17. Something i have observed in person walking the marina docks and shoreline is how shallow the gills would get at night. I literally watched the bass use the dock lights and shadows to their advantage. Most would sit just outside of the light and would crush them the second something came into their outer realm.
  18. is that albino a weedless?
