Haven't used the Shrapnel enough to make that comparison to the calcutta that I have used for a few years. Reels no longer available.

Calcutta is sold. I love the shrapnel. It's incredibly solid. I caught two 20lb. muskies on it and it handled them without issue. Just have to clear some stuff out.

Selling my curado 300 DSV. No trades. Was super-tuned by Animal House Reel Service. Frame, crank, star drag, spool tension knob painted matte black by "Calfish". It is the reel from the thread link below. I bought it from echoedd and have owned it since. Some of the black paint has chipped off the edge of the handle.
