Haven't used the Shrapnel enough to make that comparison to the calcutta that I have used for a few years. Reels no longer available.

Calcutta is sold. I love the shrapnel. It's incredibly solid. I caught two 20lb. muskies on it and it handled them without issue. Just have to clear some stuff out.

Selling my curado 300 DSV. No trades. Was super-tuned by Animal House Reel Service. Frame, crank, star drag, spool tension knob painted matte black by "Calfish". It is the reel from the thread link below. I bought it from echoedd and have owned it since. Some of the black paint has chipped off the edge of the handle. Out of curiosity, how many kinds of BAAs are there? Bought it used from here, wasn't told it was anything specific, so I assume it is a "standard" model. Have never fished it.

Selling (no trades, please don't ask). Prices include USPS Priority Mail w/ tracking and PP (gift or add 3%). All baits are in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition with a few exceptions. The Dark Trout Wake Jr has small chip on the dorsal side that has been colored in (bought it that way). Wake Sucka has a small chip at the base of the dorsal fin that has been colored in. Hyper Herring is USED (hook rash, teeth marks), but has caught and still catches fish. If someone wants all of them, make a reasonable offer and I will include a Columbia Tackle swimbait box for all the smaller ones (BAA and Wake won't fit in it). Thanks. I'll post pics tonight. For your swimbaiting pleasure, I'm selling my Daiwa Blacksheep 250. Had the reel cleaned, tuned, lubed and Carbontex drag washers installed. It is ready to go! Just got it back on 4/5/13. Reel was serviced by Richard Schmitz (screen name, Pikemaster). He is the resident reel tech for the muskie forum I frequent (MuskieFirst). He is also on the Tackle Tour forums. I would like to try to recover what I have in it, so anything less than $500 won't be considered. I will take offers via PM for the next couple days.
