  1. +1 looks like glue under the skin. I would fish it anyways...
  2. Took me long enough but I got on a good fish. Followed the bait for 10', walked it twice and she committed. Fun chunk for sure.
  3. Put this together on one of my personal favorite techniques... walking a billed floater. Rats, Gills, Slammers, it all works. Some of it gets kind of rambly, but isn't that what discussions are for?
  4. Great seller! I bought four of my slide swimmers from him a few years a go for $100 plus $20 for EMS shipping! That was a realistic price. Now they are just cashing in. I think I might sell mine too and make some $. The glide bite is going to get played out fast anyways, I already see it dying on a lake I used to smack 'em on it Ahhh... Love knowing that 95% of my lakes haven't even seen Hudds except for me. Gotta love the south! I dread the day when bigbaits are in Bass Pro, Walmart ETC...Mark the words, the time will come.
  5. There are a lot of guys from the "Bassachusetts" area that consisently stick big fish on swimbaits. DSouth, UrbanHick come to mind but I know there are a lot of others. Just read through past GotEm posts, you will find some from the Northeast. Doesn't hurt to just thumb through past pages as well, there are a lot of posts with great info hidden back there. Good luck and welcome.
  6. What an entry to the forum. Giants, and a homebuild bait. Sick.
  7. Totally thought that was a real link. Well played.
  8. NIP Huddleston 68 Special, ROF 12. Brown Hitch color. Looking for a Real Prey Alewife, Real Prey 7" G2 Golden Shiner, or Real Prey Bluegill. Slow Sinks preferred. Let me know at 770-843-9968.
  9. Gotta throw this up for GaBassin... a video of his reel coming off the seat, as well as a horrendous backlash. He made a long cast with the shellcracker and the fish must have been tracking it or something, she ate it the split second it touched the water. Michael didn't even hesitate, he swung into her HARD......before he engaged the reel from free spool I just told him to run away, I handlined her in, we ended up landed the toad! Here's the video, its around the 5:00 mark. Oh lord.... You forgot to mention I had a BBz stuck in my leg haha. That too. Owners in the leg, keep fishing.

  11. I hate the tail they put on em. Need to make a new one for mine.
  12. +1 AR Waker is a solid bait. Catches fish. You are correct on the upkeep, but I like it. Here is a fish from night waking it next to a seawall.
  13. Good baits! I will strongly advise you...get an 8" hudd! +1. The one bait that taught me the most about drawing power was the Hudd.
  14. +1. Works really well for when you want to put a SS soft bait where most would put a Floater hardbait. Deadly
  15. To be honest maybe it's just me, but I throw a huge range of baits on my Okuma XH. I've thrown 65t Koppers to 10 inch TTs. I have had buddies with the H, and it was an alright rod for smaller baits, but once they made the jump to Hudds and bigger, it wouldn't cut it. I just like my 8' XH. Rather be overpowered than underpowered.
  16. Hey if you dont end up selling or want to split, I will buy the two wasabis and the SD card off you. I'll give you retail for it, just let me know. Oops... meant for PM

  18. I've got a Phantom Shasta ROF 5, great condition... what you have to trade?
  19. Used to live in Roswell, now located on the GA Coast. Lanier in the summer has an awesome swimbait bite. Find deep brush, bump it with hudds, find schooling or wolfpacking fish and get them with a TT or floater lipless bait.
