  1. all my reels are curado 301dsv - less weight (especially since you will be hurling huge baits all day) - versatile (can handle smaller baits with ease) - with the small profile you can grip the whole reel easier - can be modified (plenty of aftermarket upgrades available) - holds value (from what ive seen, the resale value is up there) - high gear ratio. you can always slow down your cadence! my thoughts to this are, when you need to horse in a fish the higher gear ratio will help. you can only speed up a lower ratio so much. try racing a someone with a higher ratio, and you will see what i mean.
  2. i tend to put my prized lures away with any site of the toothy critters, but i see you dont use a leader... so this interests me. how do they hit / bite the bait and do you lose baits often? thanks in advance.
  3. thanks - thats all i needed. i didnt know what to search for.
  4. ive sold plenty with no issue. lets get this straight before this gets outta hand... im sure a few ppl that i have sold to with vouch for me. for one there was no 'scamming'. i never sold anything to the person who had this so called issue. they are from another forum and just bitter they couldnt close the deal. after they found out the items were sold... ... tarnished and threw my name in the dirt. fact of the matter is i did not sell anything to them - so there was no 'scamming'. in the end its all online text, but it prevents me from selling something quickly. 2nd i conduct all sales via paypal - therefore all parties involved are covered. any other questions?

  6. hmm ok where can i get one? i dont have a clue what these are, or where to find some. thanks in advance
  7. on a side note - i have yet to gain more confidence on soft plastic baits. there is something about them that just doesnt jive with me. i can knock them out with a resin bait - thats for sure!
  8. the only wood bait ive consistently thrown was the slammer. i didnt like the feel of the wooden punker - so i quickly put that down. other than the slammer, all of my baits are resin. getting all your baits to have the same consistency and rof - well thats a science with resin baits. this is where a scale and some modification comes in handy... or a deep pocket. when you find a perfect ROF - take note of the weight. send it to the bait maker so they can duplicate.
  9. i guess the real question is do they float? i prefer the tail end of the hardbait to stay afloat.
  10. quick question - what tail is that, how long is it and does it float? ive been using floating plastic tails 4 - 6 inches. i have yet to find something usable in the 8-10inch range.
  11. ... ive gotten wind of that. ive been experimenting with a few different versions of the 'rat' but now its no longer a secret!
  12. its great that everyone looks out for one another - thats a good thing. whereas when ppl like that guy on TT made all these assumptions... well as you can see it got out of hand. im (or should i saw we) are pretty much banned from there, and have no recourse. these forums are much better for selling items anyways. people know about the baits and what what they are worth. fyi - i only have the 10inch trouts available now. all the other baits have been sold and shipped out.
  13. in the order i believe they should be used triple trout baa slammer rat - may not be a full bodied 10, but with the right tail it can appear to be
  14. for one there were no 'shady dealings'. i never sold anything to the person who had this so called issue. my buddy and i fish together, and work together. we merely have the share the same interests. i posted using their login as that user complained about irregular response times. 2nd i conduct all sales via paypal - therefore all parties involved are covered. any other questions?
  15. all emails replied need these gone...
  16. are there substitutes to this putty? the reason being, is i would like to paint these parts, or atleast cover them up again.
  17. here's a pic of one of the smaller bags as mentioned above... what is that black bait? tia
  18. ive already upsized the hooks and have also gone to a thicker gauge. this has not done much to achieve the ROF that i desire. mattlures hardbaits, nate's baits, hudds im happy with my 316 ROFs i would like to concentrate more on the hardbaits, as i tend to throw those more than anything. i would also like to be accurate with my modifications. i will probably weigh everything i add. where can i get this putty?
  19. m looking to change a few baits and their rof. what tools and weights should i look into getting? the rof i like using is almost an in-betweener. any help or advice on this would greatly be appreciated!
  20. please email me so i can send more information
