heard the same thing. also heard that if one isn't the original purchaser/owner of a 3:16 bait, the warranty is void as well.

dont think of it as a fishfinder. think of it as a depth/structure locator. its great to have. it takes A LOT of learning too though. good luck with your decision

Was that mackerel bait ever released to the public? the fin is in a different spot than the hyper herring, does it fish about the same? the lip is different too - squared instead of coffin'd. nice bait tho nontheless awesome mojo/hook rash too!

when tossing big baits, i get nervous whenever i see birds of prey circling overhead. ive had close encounters with ospreys and bald eagles...

How did this year go for everyone? Hopes for next year?

didnt get out as much as i would of liked this year. hopefully it'll be better next year. all in all, i did manage to get a few nice ones this year(over 5lbs). lost a 6-7lber next to the boat. had a 40+" northern cut my bait off at the boat doing their circle of death swipes. lost my first hud. caught my first FS Herring bass. next year, going for a DD in MN(I know they exist up here) oh and hopefully hit up an official 3:16 release.
