  1. Title says it all folks, any color you got. Silver back or green back preferred.
  2. Why an LDC? Pardon my ignorance, but what does a costum rod offers that this model dobyns does not? I've never owned a custom rod, so any help would be appreciated. You never know, you might convert me into buying an LDC. Search the forum here some, LDC's rep speaks for itself. I have a production MH, H and Custom XXH. I've also used a Dobyns 806, 867, Shimano Crucial XH, Loomis 966 and a few other big name rods, but none are even close to a LDC for me. The biggest thing I like about the LDC's over the other rods is the sprial wrap. Once you fight a fish with a spiral wrap, you will never want to use anything else. The turn in the rod when you get a bigger fish on is virtually gone. Plus all of the components are top quality and hand wrapped/assembled instead of being built on an assembly line at a company, and for pretty close to the same price. Ben also takes all of the guess work out of a rod. Instead of wondering which rod is good for which bait, talk to Ben and he can explain the science to you way better than any of us can on here. He's throwing the same baits as we are(well his collection is better than most ) and knows which baits pair up better with which rod. My only problem with LDC's, the wait. But hey, you can't rush perfection! Thanks for the response. Looks like I will be contacting them tomorrow to ask more questions.

  4. I am mainly going to be throwing 8" Hudds ROF5 and on occasion an ROF 12. But my main bait of choice is going to be 8" Hudds ROF 5. I can't decide which would do the job better, I've read that the 806 is superb for treble style swimbaits, and the 807 is better suited for jig hook style swimbaits. Is there any truth in this? I will be paring it up with a Shimano Cardiff 400A and my line of choice will be 80lbs PP and P-line 100% Flouro if needed.
  5. Is there a better technique than a straight retrieve? Is there a "holy grail" hollow swimbait company that I need to know about? Is there a season where a hollow belly swimbait works better? I cant find to much info using the search engine. Thanks guys, any info on how to fish these would be much appreciated.
  6. You got two models of swimbaits, what models would you choose, and who is the maker. Lets say its for general use, a swimbait that no matter the situation its always tied on.
  7. You removed that hook out of your hand like a boss!!!
  8. That action is amazing! That sounds makes me want to bite it..lol..
  9. Great Vid! I just subbed your channel.
  10. If you did, what did you like and dislike about it? I have a buddy how loves these things, and I want to see what are some general thoughts on this lure.

  13. In this game, that's all it takes with stuff. The short, BBZ is a straight rip from a Rago bait. So yeah, that's it. Nuff said, understood.
  14. Just wondering, I see a lot of 3:16, TT, and other brands get lots of write up. I can't find any thing on the BBZ-1. Is there a reason way? I am a swimbait rookie and before I go blowing a lot of money on swimbaits, I want the DL on as many swimbaits as I can.
