  1. Rainbow Trout Baby Wake in excellent condition $140 shipped, insured tyd paypal g&s is fine. I am the original owner, it's been fished 8-10 times.
  2. Do you still have these? What size are they?
  3. I'll start by saying I'm no expert on swimbaits... but these two are in good condition and both swim great. $35 each TYD or $60 for both.
  4. I like the minnow but the action is not nearly as dramatic as the RS. It's basically a tail only movement. I think the 5" RS will be much better. I too use weighted and unweighted hooks with the minnow and have had some success, but I jones for that head/body movement like the OG RS.
  5. Haha... I got the Trokars on the way... My experience has been that trokar are sharper out of the package, but they are a tad more delicate. I just hope they balance the bait properly as I believe the Owners have a slightly heavier gauge (not positive on this). I was so excited to use mine, I tried them with some other hooks that I have that are 10/0 but not screw mount. The center of gravity was not right and the bait rolled unless I added weight (that I didn't want to add due to having to speed up my retrieve). Anyways, no big deal IMO, 3:16 customer service is top of the line and I guarantee they will make it right if you are that displeased with the Trokars. That said, a heads up would have been nice, but I know they are redic busy right now. Historically great companies get some slack for me in these circumstances.
  6. Right on everyone.. REALLY appreciate the feedback. I have an extra Curado and a Chronarch and I use 20lb Sunline Fluoro for this rod. Everyone's responses were so consistent... greatly appreciated.
  7. Sorry I haven't been on a ton, but figured for this question, I would ask the experts. I have several extra size 200 reels. I need a reel for a swimbait rod that I use specifically for Rising Sons. I was wondering, would a 200 size reel (Curado) be appropriate for the bigger baits? I am no expert on the makings of reels and so perhaps I am missing something. I have had a bit of trouble with my Lexa 300s and feel like my curados are indestructible. Any input on the subject is greatly appreciated. I'm sure there is good reason out there for the larger reels, I just don't know them... thanks again.
  8. I just logged on to find that the pre-sale was over.. I'm hoping that is still up there from the last one, but not sure. I'll check in at noon
  9. SUCH a sweet fish.. well done man!

    From CO to CA

First off, I can't thank Chris (londonmitch) enough. We had a hell of a good time working the lake and talking fishing. The fish were not totally cooperative, but the work paid off. I learned a ton and had more fun catching one fish than I usually do catching more. Life is stressful, fishing is medicine! I got a full dose. Thanks again Chris, any of you guys need a boat ride, I might have a few tricks in CO...
  11. Nice fish... they have tried to take hold here in CO, but don't seem to grow well...

P.S...any of you that know me from other forums, I promise to behave!
