    I have used the b series and the d series a lot. The b series has a faster gear ratio than the d also you can adjust the brakes on the b very easy. On the d series you must take it apart to adjust the brakes unless you get a Japanese model. Both are great reels the d is far more comfortable in the hand than the b but if you need to adjust the brakes frequently you will get frustrated with the d.

    I use these on my glide baits they are crazy strong and are really little. I only use to be able to order from Japan but that was before decoy was at tackle warehouse I'm sure someone sells them in the States now.

    I know that I purchased an swaver 168 in 2006 didn't throw it until spring of 2007 at clearlake caught so many fish on it. Went back to the tackle shop's and they were all on discount sale for 7.99 I asked them why and they said that they weren't selling. It took about 2 years after that for that lure to catch on.
