  1. I must always be late to the party!
  2. I’ve never seen a bait on DRT USA website. Am I going to the wrong site for drops?
  3. Yea, I agree w you that they should just label the 16 lb test line what it actually is…22lb test. Or call the 20lb, 28 lbs test. In theory, diameter is important but the diameter ranges for say 20lb pound test in the higher end fluoros between the various manufacturers are all really similar. I think it would be hard for me to tell the differences in .430 and .370.
  4. The tournament guys down here In the south all talk about Gamma Edge as the strongest line produced. Gammas 16 lb line has a 22lb actual breaking strength. Their 20 lb line has a 28lb actual breaking strength. If you read the reviews you’ll see lots of “I’ve never broken off on this line”
  5. Thanks! How do you find these? You're always on em!
  6. They look pretty. The action isn’t my style, though.
  7. I hadn’t seen the Bass Brain Glides before. Will check them out! I’m fishing lakes with lots of spots and they seem to like the 6-7 inch size. Looking to expand that category and hoping to see what’s out there. Thanks for the note!
  8. What’s your favorite 6 to 7 inch glide?
  9. The Black Market should just go back to G&S transactions where the buyer pays the fees as the standard. It’s interesting that SU buyers are willing to accept the risk for SU sellers (who they don’t know) that believe they can avoid the tax man by running the deal FnF. In an audit, if profit is made, the gov would considered these swimbaits a “good” and unfortunately, it’s a taxable transaction/business if over $600 is made in profit in a year. Even further, It’s not cash, it’s documented by PayPal who has to report the transactions to the IRS. If the fed wants a cut of your profits on a swimbait transaction, they will want it regardless of you say it’s FnF or G&S. We are seeing a lot more folks get ripped off because we have made it easy for people to rip buyers off in the name of accepting risk so Sellers can hide from the IRS. We don’t need a traffic cop, buyers should just use G&S (pay the fees) anytime they are buying from someone they don’t know.
  10. It’s gotten easier for scammers because the SU community has moved away from the G&S payment. Sellers believe they can evade the tax man by calling it FnF. I assure you if the IRS wants to audit you, it doesn’t matter what you labeled the transaction in PayPal. And unfortunately now, the gov considers these sales a taxable transaction if $600 or more is completed in a year. The result of the move to FnF only creates less secure transactions and a much smaller market to buy and sell from. It doesn’t actually save anyone from the tax man. The law is what it is. IMHO, The Black Market would be better off going back to G&S as the standard.
  11. That’s what I needed to know. I was thinking it might run lighter than the specs. May stick w what I know in that 795SB. That 795 is a great rod.
  12. Interested in the SU community’s opinions on the Dobyns 794SB rod. Currently, I have a 795SB and it works well. The tackle junkie in me says I need a step down for lighter baits. I have a ton of treble hook baits under 3 oz and thinking this may have a spot in the line up. Couldn’t find really any input or reviews online so any info would be greatly appreciated!
