  1. Great job, see you guys on the water.
  2. ^ great box, but hanging the split rings on those clips will eventually cause burs, scratches and rough spots on the split ring that will damage your line while tying the bait on. You can use a heavy o-ring loop it back through it's self and attach it.
  3. I'm sure any dirty live-well is better then dirt, concrete, and sticks in the eyeball. LOL
  4. I choose both, you have to give the fish what they want. And year around if you're limiting your selection you're killing the percentage of landing a PB. A lot of time going against the grain. You'll show the fish something different.
  5. Love seeing pond pounders drag they're fish on the ground.
  6. 8" hud, when they first hit the market they looked and felt big. Now they're basically just a small "swimbait" to me.
  7. You may be getting hung up on the 8" because you're using the wrong ROF. If you're worried about snagging and ruining the spot, throw a weedless. I fish HUDs more like a jig than anything else, the slower you fish it the better. The weedless work very well and are my favorite. You just have to use the right equipment to drive the hook in. The up side is if you're getting hung up you are in the right spot. I'm using both an LDC XXH AND A 908 for them. But the 68 I use a XH. 99% of the time I throw the 8"
  8. My home water is normally very clear. So when it does dirty up it will kill the swimbait bite here. But that just this water. I like a little stain in other lakes. I believe these fish are sight feeders and will travel a long distance to eat a bait.
  9. Let the fish load the rod. I make my kids look away or distract them by talking to them or they pull the bait away from the fish almost all the time.
  10. To beat my PB Spot of 9.00 and my PB largie of 14.5
  11. It's great for cranking though trees and lay downs. It very rarely will get hung up.it make a lot of noise to if you give it short pops when waking it, like when you are waking a slammer or working a punker.
  12. Slammer for me. More versatile and has put bigger fish in the boat.
  13. I look at it like this most of the lake lice playing load music have conditioned the fish to relax the worst thing that could happen is they will get hit with a empty beer bottle. LOL I think sonar has a larger influence on them. What amazes me is how it takes you lots of time to find good spots and angle. And a drinkin party barge can find your spot every time. Music is a must, not to mention watching Don do some LDC air guitar!
  14. ^The Phenix 909XH black diamond blank will handle all of those baits.
  15. I posted it that way to see how long it would take someone to comment back about the spelling. 1 hour, Hahahahahahah, hook, line and sinker. It's people like this that really have nothing to say but want to increase their posts. That's what really drags this site down.
