His line thru ones are even better.

So I will start out by saying I do work for Savage Gear but our line thru trout has been pretty deadly on big musky and largies. I have a photo of me trying not to laugh as I take a photo of a largie that hit a 10 inch line thru rigged on 150 pound 7-strand wire. Guess that fish wasn't line shy.

What type of swimbait for Minnesota lakes?

We did good on Mill Lacs largies on the 6 inch and 8 inch yellow perch line thru trout from Savage Gear two weeks ago. Funny part is they didn't care about the wire leaders either. -

Posted on Facebook today...

You can top or bottom rig the 6 inch and it has the same mesh going through the baits just like the trout.

I miss those days of the show. There wasn't much of interest there this year.

Baits will be out in March. There will be two sizes and it will be a top and bottom hook line thru on the large size and top or bottom fixed treble on the small size. The U.S. will release two colors the light and dark gill. MSRP will be about 15.99 on the small and 19.99 on the large. There are videos of the slow sink and floaters swimming action on facebook.

He made a rubber trout that floated and a dozen others made it better. So someone had the idea of a car and nobody else is allowed to make a car?

And some on lithium that are even crazier Randall

For selecting the top rigging or bottom rigging I found out that if you pinch the last 1/8th of an inch of line before threading the bait helps a lot. If you face the now curled line up it will go up to the back. Point the curved line down and it will go to the belly. Pretty beefy bait. The pinched line trick works great on the six inch model also.

Pretty easy to see where they added the extra inch to the bait. Looks like a 3rd grader carved the additional length they added to the Hinkle.

The Big Bass Dreams store has the limited run Savage Gear Ghost Trout 3D Line Thru. Just a heads up.
