I’m thinking some wood filler would work sand it down put some clear on it . Anybody got another way ? The wood filler I got is pretty light and don’t think it will effect it. But open to other options

My fiancé’s grandfather has this 16 foot flat bottom bass tracker. Thinking of making a winter project out of it. It’s been sitting out side for years not covered and needs a Total restoration. any idea on what it’s worth it a way to find out ?

Weedless soft bait boots tails and ospreys for me on the weed lines. Lake has been chocolate milk, kinds of surprised I can’t get on a top water bite. Not sure if you done some research on the fall turnover but there’s a few good YouTube videos out there that helped me a lot

Yeah I’ve been trying those out . And hitting those drops offs with some citizens , wake n cranks and rats. Baits been schooling in 10-15 FOW . Hopefully when my water clears up I’ll get some more lakes a mud pit right now

When I first started I was scared about locking, but I can’t tell you how many fish I lost from letting them take drag. for me when they turned their head and pulled drag once I got em back around I’d lose them ALOT. Now I don’t give them any thing I lock it down and crank them in. Haven’t had an issue

Finally able to get out this year and do some mapping with auto chart pro pc program which is very useful. Still learning how to use it but I got the basics out of the way. I’ve been a bank beater / yak fishermen since I started new to the mapping world. I have a pic of a local natural lake lots of deep grass pretty steep banks. Almost like a bowl maybe could relate to some Cali fisheries. This lake has a descent amount of bait fish and is stocked with trout. what areas would you guys target big bass on a body of water like this ? I have caught quite a few nice bass outta this lake 3-7lbs but I know there’s bigger. It’s about a 40 acre lake below I posted a pictures with the contours and 3D mosaics

Usually when doing gill carvings , you make a template that you can transfer over. I think the only way now would be to get some tracing paper and trace the outlines. Just my 2 cents good job so far

Nice going try this out , thanks for putting this together!
