Trouble with old friend and local tournament
MA Frog Man replied to Dnewpo57's topic in The Underground
"Not Allowed" him. I'm glad I don't fish tournaments anymore. Too many politics from a bunch of guys throwing senkos into 12 inches of water. -

looking to get rid of 2 reels. 1st if a 300Dsv. Cosmetically not the best id give it a 6.5/7. Has daiwa 100mm handle. Brand new drag. Every bearing in this reel is brand new. Including 2 brand new ZPI spool bearings. Mechanically 10/10 $200tyd 2nd reel is a PROJECT REEL. A Z2020/200. Not the smoothest reel but a good reel if your looking to paint a reel or customize it. Needs some mechanical work. Probably a pinion bearing replacement. Good reel if you just want a Z to beat the ish out of. $150 tyd

When you put the levelwind back in make sure its lined up perfectly in those grooves in the side of the frame. If its not it will grab and wear. I'd also check 5654 and 5659 and make sure that neither of them are worn and need replacing.

Scott just painted the yellow cheese color on the bottom. Very easy process and as was already said one of the nicest guys you'll talk to.

Fixed it for you haha. I appreciate all the love guys but it might be awhile/forever until I start again. What started as a part time job became a full time job real quick. That on top of my already hectic work schedule didn't work. That being said @northeast_trevif youre willing to wait til end of June I could help you out .

Its hard for me to justify any gancraft/megabits reel anymore. Charging double retail for a reels with mostly cosmetic changes isn't worth it to me. The 003 is a nice reel but its still a Tatula 200HD. If your looking for a higher end reel, you'll be much better off spending that 400 on something else.

Sounds like a spacer problem. I'd be willing to bet its missing the spacer in the spool tension knob or under the bearing in the side plate. Sounds like the pinion isn't catching the spool pin. I assume he replaced some clutch parts?

I'm going to see if the domain name www.Swimbitchunderground.com is available. Alot of complaining lately.
