I just bought a MS Slammer Mini in all black and I think I'm going to do a orange or red spot on its throat just to give it a little something extra.

What Knots Do You Tie For Big Swimbaits On Floro?

I've heard it's not the best knot for flouro but I have had 0 issues with a palomar. Ever. With swimbaits, flipping, cranking anything. I also understand that your confidence in it is shaken, and that can be as bad as anything. I think there are some good suggestions listed above. Find one that you are confident in tying and fishing. Then give em hell. -

I've done well on the Gamakatsu EWG Treble Short Shank 2X. They are sticky sharp. I have gone with those on all treble swimbaits and crankbaits. That short shank will allow you to go up a size on hooks. Also, like a previous post said, it is all personal preference and I will add its all about confidence.
