it falls around a rof 4 with the ste rigging on a slow steady retrieve... i remove the front treble and run it on the single trailer hook and it runs just under the surface.. the only hudd i ever got bit on..
The swamp gas and non painted colors are better after you boil them.. I turn them into linethrus.. I have some success with them on schooling fish and using them when the fish are aggressively hitting bait high in the water column.. any other application you should just get the trash fish..
West Point and Harding aren’t far from the auburn area.. wedowee and the tallapoosa river isn’t much farther.. there are 2 county lakes close one in Lafayette and one in auburn..
Take a q-tip and run it around the guides on your rods and on your insert on your worm gears.. if there’s any knicks it will catch the q-tip and also make sure the rods guides have all their inserts still intact.. seems like an abrasion is causing it..
I remember seeing these on eBay 3 years before the big hype up.. they wouldn’t sell for 80 bucks then.. never saw a good swim vid.. I couldn’t get over the bulging head on them.. just not my style
