I use the lews super duty’s 300 for my big baits. That’s a $200 reel. It’s one of the best reels I ve ever had. Lexa 300s are always around $200 especially on eBay, great deals there. I do feel the lews super duty is superior to the Lexa though.

I use high speed reels for my deps and glide baits. It glides better for me with a 7:1 than on my 6:3:1 or 5s,which feels like I need to reel faster to keep the glide up. I guess it’s all personal preference.

Anywhere use the 806 LH for treble baits? What do you think is the real max. It says up to 8oz

I think I’ll stay away from spiralite after reading Logan’s situation. I guess it’s dobyns for me.

I use the xh for my 250s. Fantastic rod but the rod to me Is a little stiff and better for single hook baits like huddlestons
