    Glass and acrylic both have a chance of leaking just have to be on top of looking for the signs. I'm currently setting up a 40x40x40 275 gallon cube for predator fish. Current stock list stuck at a friend's is 4 9-14inch bichirs and a 20in clown knife. Once the tank is up in debating more bichirs or a zebra pike cichlid again. This weekend my 180 tall tank is going up which eventually will be a planted discus tank again. Way to much work when I could be fishing.

    Currently in the process of setting up a 180 gallon and a 275 gallon tanks. Had a 125 split a seam a month ago so currently upgrading majorly. Will put up pics once it's all set up.

    I use the 8in perch out west on the Central coast but I don't think color matters as much as we think. How many times have people thrown a trout colored hudd in lakes that have never seen trout and slammed them. I say sling it

    Well finally bit the bullet and dropped the money on the deposit for my first LDC rod. Pretty stoked and lucky I'll be in Alaska for most of the time I would have been waiting. Stoked to see how it turns out.

    Might try fishing something that is the size of the small bass your catching. The bigger grade fish could be feasting the smaller bass. Seems like when there isn't a big forage type food supply such as trout, hitch, or gizzard shad they begin to Target each other.
