    A lot of that also has to do with going down in line size, and tossing it on a lighter rod.

    FYI single jointed slammers are back in stock on TW, Purple Nitro, Bluegill ect. Get em before I buy them all

    What line are you using? Way to many dudes out there throwing #25+, if so lighten up your line and you should be a big difference. In terms of smallmouth glides many recommend the GC Jointed Claws as they can be fished quite a bit deeper then other glides out there, I know I have one on the way from Japan that I'll specifically be targeting smallmouth in deeper water with.

    Will do. won't be for a little while, lakes are still frozen up here. Also, something else worth mentioning is that it seems guys seem to be able to get GC230's quite a bit deeper then SS250's. Anyone experince this?

    Also wondering this, up here we have a lot of fish suspend under bait in around 30fow it would be nice to get a glide down a tad deeper.

    Try looking for a Deps on a few of the sites out of Japan, you'll save quite a bit. JPANGLER, Rakuten, Japanlureshop, Samurai tackle.

    Hey fellas, Canadian here looking to jump right into the swimbait side of things, something virtually nobody is doing up here. Got a couple questions in terms of gear, hopefully you guys can give me some insight, for the most part I'll be tossing Hudds 6&8" both BB rigged and weedless. First I'll be ordering a JDM Conquest sometime this week, big question is should I be going with a 300 or 400 size? I'll be spooling it up with #25 CXX. Next will be a LDC 8'6" custom rod, trying to decide weather I should be going with a XH or XXH? I know I'll be fine fishing the BB rigged Hudds on the XH, but what about the weedless? Any input would be much appreciated! Thanks
