Thanks guys, 99.9% of the fish I caught were on 6" storm shads. I brought rising sons and other bigger swimbaits but the shads were the key down there. If you head down bring like 10 packs of storm shads and you'll be good

Took a amazing trip down to baccarac at the end of march, smashed my New England PB of 7.2 countless times during that week. You actually get spoiled down there and get disappointed with 7's and 8's lol I hooked and lost what the guide said to be a 12, that being said I have unfinished business there and will be returning to get my double digit My biggest was 9.9 but the 8.10( night time pic) was my favorite because it was a absolute brick

I know this thread is older but if you are on the fence....do it! I've never been so spoiled fishing. We would hook into fish and be bummed it was only a 7 lol My big fish of the trip was 9.9
