I have one swims pretty good for a 40 dollar rat wake bait. Alot nicer than the newer rago rats they are junk. Still prefer my morning wood but the bbz is second in line.

Thats awsome i like to see guys fabricating there glide baits out of old ones. Thats how the slide swimmer Started and u made it yourself. If u catch fish on it it will be worth alot more than a bait u can buy.

So i have the curado 300 and lexa 300 that seem to work pretty well for throwing my deps 250. I see alot of the big swimbait guys are using round reels. My question is is the calcutta better for big baits, i see alot of questions about swimbait reals but none specific ones about round or low profile reels. I dont mind spending the money so i just want to know if round reals are that much stronger. Will it help with throwing big baits and catching big fish. Is the calcutta d as good as the te.

I would definately get rid of the braid. U start throwing heavy baits and ull be watching them sink to the bottom of the lake.

I prefer the shimano reels hands down. I have the curado 300 and thee lexa the curado is alot smoother and much better built. Any calcutta 250 to 400 will work awsome to.
