  1. Very durable, especially the tail. He has some swim videos on his facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/lenalures) and you can swim them with different retrieves. His paint jobs are amazing too.
  2. What would you like to know? I got a trout, bass and bluegill from Lena Lures. Bass and trout are slow sink (2 rof) and bluegill is topwater. Hes based in Germany, and generally makes a few baits each month to put up on his ebay page.
  3. That one is not for Boomah's father.......please re-read the thread. The next one on eBay will be for his father. True...that one is being sold by Oliver, with Matt's permission, to help recoup costs. He also donated a 2nd bait to be put up for auction for Boomah's father that will probably show up on Ebay after this one sells. Ah, good to know. Glad it's going to a good cause.
  4. Someone's already flipping one!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mattlures-10-in ... &_trkparms
  5. I'm using straight for all my swimbaits, but looking to get a wrapped. I would have gotten one sooner, but outside of LDC/Huddleston I haven't really seen too many wrapped rods in retail (that aren't custom made by someone)
  6. Wrapped rods reduce torque and line twist, which will only help you bring in the big girls.
  7. Imakatsu is also coming out with a 3D fish, I would probably wait for that one to come out
  8. If you have instagram, there was a picture posted through #swimbaitunderground if someone catching a striper on the roid
  9. A spiral wrapped rod is a casting rod who's guides start out on top of the blank and then rotate around the rod leaving the final guides and tip under the blank. This guide placement reduces torque allowing you to fight larger fish on lighter tackle with less fatigue. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=spiral+rod+guides Thanks for the goggle link, Dumbass. I was asking a serious question. I don't need the encyclopedia answer, Im asking someone that knows what they are talking about to explain to me the advantages of the spiral wrap. Serious question!!! There are links to rod building forums where they talk about everything on spiral wraps. Nobody here has really answered your question on specific advantages besides torque. You ask for an explanation and I give you thousands of links with answers. Do some research and don't be such a baby.

  11. Lol I remember seeing that one a few weeks back on ebay. Looks like something somebody would make for a middle school woodshop class. The swivels aren't even complete circle's... one cast and you could loose your hooks and your lure. I doubt it even glides, it looks like he sprayed over the joints
  12. Bluegills are up on their site! Just can't add into your cart yet. http://www.huddbaits.com/store/bluegill
  13. I REALLY hope the flippers don't buy them out... I would hate to see these on the black market/fleabay for $50 each
  14. RM are top of the line, but as the pricing is right now, for the price of a negotiator you could probably get a Deps 250. I would hold off on buying a Roman Made for now, unless you want to drop a lot more money on it than you have to.
  15. Knot some sense into him!
  16. Batteries, chesty mount, tripod and 2 64gb cards is what I'm running with on my Hero3+. Don't really need a whole lot (mainly batteries if your planning on keeping it on for you whole trip).
  17. Thanks for all your input guys, I ordered a Humminbird Piranhamax 197c portable from basspro for $160 (the new one for 2015). I'll look into getting the Fishin' buddy series if I'm not satisfied with what I got. I do like that no wire setup and the float tube sleeve accessory for the fishin buddy, maybe I'll get one around spring when I take out the tube more.
  18. Im looking for a portable fish finder setup, ideally something I can take on friends boats/rentals and my float tube. I've seen a few companies that have their own pack(Humminbird and Lowrance), I was just wondering if anyone knew of or is using a good setup other than those. Would it be worth it to just get a bundle (finder+bag/battery+transducer [Or even just get the bundle and switch out the finder with a better one]), or to try and make my own setup w/ battery and cables?
  19. Haven't ordered from Deps, but heres another site that you might have some luck from: https://www.plus-fishing.com/de/shop/de ... -jr-detail
  20. Is the rof on this one dependent on water temperatures also?
  21. Its out at japanese retailers, should be in US retailers in a few weeks
  22. I have a lexa 300 that I've been using for about a year now, loving it! Great speed. Just picked up a cardiff 401 that I plan on taking out tomorrow for some slow rolling fun
  23. Is this bait for sale? On some japanese retailers, probably will be in the next batch of US shipments. Keep an eye on tackle warehouse
  24. Wow I didn't know this color was out there! Now I might just get this instead of getting my 175 2.0 ghost keta painted... could be a good substitute for a hitch color
  25. It's always the one you least suspect, this time that person happens to be you. Sounds like a tag line for a really, really bad movie
