Added a couple to the arsenal.

Usually both phones, wallet, one knife, LC9s in the Sticky holster, and extra mag. I like that sticky holster... I can carry in any belt configuration or any pocket for that matter. XDS 45 and extra mag on days when I will be in the woods or on the 4 wheeler. I went through a few holsters and guns and these are the two that stayed.

That was really my first outing with it. I took it out one other time but didnt really throw anything with it that much. It had the Citizen on all day this trip. I like it so far.

7.3# on the citizen to break in my new 867 and a spro 50 rat fish. That was the biggest of 3 on the citizen that day.

Im a hockey fan. Actually the only sport I will watch other than fishing. I havent been following it the last few years since I got rid of satellite tv. I am a Stars fan and after Modano retired I kinda lost interest. I started watching in 1993 when they moved to Dallas. We had an IHL team here in Houston for awhile but not anymore. I was watching the bruins and philly last night at dinner. Might have to start following again.

What rod would you suggest for the soft baits? Both the TFO and the Loomis are rated to 6oz and your chart says the ROF5 weighs in at 4.1 oz. What do I need to look for in a rod for the job?

Here is RiPpLeS. Took 3 trolling motors for me to like this boat. Came with a dinky 12 volt. Upgraded to 24volt...then upraded to the Terrova. I should have gotten the 54” shaft. Im regularly in waves and the prop is coming out of the water.

I have never seen any UFO’s... I keep an eye out for Bigfoot though. I did get buzzed by a pair of identical private jets that day. They couldnt have been 100 yards apart and probably low enough for me to hit with a cast!

Here is my crew “Damage Inc.” - Death from the ankles down! I have one that might behave in a boat...but He doesn’t travel without the other 2, and that black and white one is real anti-social.

Do you think I can throw those glides with that smaller reel on the BPS crankin stick? I will invest in more 300-400 size reels when I gain some confidence. I will have to see which of my rods is the most parabolic.

Yeah Fayette is where I have caught them all on swimbaits. 7.5# was on the dam by the boats keep out area. I have thrown them at Conroe, Somerville, and Houston County. I admit the glides havent seen very much action at all. I need to read up on those... I just bought the Carp Hudd and trash fish for Conroe.

Ok this is what I have been acquiring over the last few years. Apparently I like soft baits...I have had other hard baits that got sold off a few years ago. I have had alot of this stuff for a while. I throw them on occasion. I have never caught a single fish on the Loomis rod and I have had it for 3 years. The other 2 rods have been doing a-rig, magnum crankbait duty and have caught fish. I originally had borrowed a Dobyns rod and caught a few on the smaller top hook rising son. Biggest was 7.5#. I have not caught anything on the hudds or any of the hard baits. I have read the newbie read first once or twice and probably am suffering from information overload and could use an outsider looking in opinion. if this is what you had, what would be your reel, rod, bait pairings? I have decided to remove everything from my boat besides what is in the pictures. I fish by myself so I can do what I want. I need to justify this stuff or get rid of it. I live near Houston Texas and mainly fish Conroe and a power plant lake. Thanks in advance for any direction. Hope the pics post.
