    I wouldn't say skip, more like delay so long it seems like they skipped. Ive seen bass spawn in the fall.

    Yeah I don't like to fish baits that move side to side like punkers or glides because I get more misses. I was fishing a punker at night and could hear probably 10-20 bass miss my bait completely

    I'm from La also. Baits that work for me are topwater baits that make a lot of noise like rats that clack and punkers with rattles. Subsurface gills and shad have also worked well for me

    I use whatever I think will catch me the biggest bass I can. If that happens to be a senko, then I'll fish a senko.
