Top 20 state records in my state, Louisiana, are 14-15 lbs and 17 of those were caught on the same lake. Yet I get excited about a 5 pounder and my pb is 7 pounds. Biggest I've seen is 9.3. Louisiana is tiny. So, what I'm trying to say is largemouth size can vary Big time depending on the lake you are fishing. I'm sure this is the same in Cali. Only way to make the competition fair is randomized, which is no fun. It is what it is

+1 on the cotton. By far the worst. Gums up everything and its a "Not Allowed" to get off the line and guides Yup.. cottonwood and fishing line don't mix

You have a mini slammer, throw it a lot. It's sorta small but it is definitely a confidence booster. I remember getting my first one and thinking it was huge and when I caught my first fish on it, I started throwing it anytime and anyplace. I slowly got into bigger baits blah blah blah anyways mini slammer is a great confidence bait. 6 in rising son also.

Thanks will do, but I just don't understand why TW wouldn't be able to exchange it because it clearly states on the customer service section of the site that they would exchange/refund for defective baits It's a problem with bdb's quality control on the Punkers. They are all doing the same thing. You would most likely be exchanging a defective bait for another defective bait.
