I use a reverse Albright on my 806 and 807 with 50lb and 65lb Braid respectively . I use 20-25lb flouro leaders . And my leader length is usually 2ft or less . Mat Allen uses a similar length and I haven’t noticed a difference in bites from length in leader . My next swimbait reel however will be a dedicated copolymer line reel

If rather have it and not need it is your thing then get the 400... I’m considering buying another

I learned to fall in love with the slow roll of the Hudd ... I fell back in love with swimbait fishing overall ... I mostly learned that catching fish on swimbaits has a lot of similarities to catching fish on conventional tackle baits .

Got a chance to sneak out from the wife and kids for about an hour and took two baits . Osprey and Hudd 68!.. when got to water saw conditions better suited the 68. Suuuuper slow retriever resulted in a 4lb Christmas Hudd fish

I have only had days with 5+ fish in swimbaits using the shell cracker G2 ... awesome vid. I’d recommend magslowl as well

I just got done throwing both of mine all day and haven’t any issues .. I had a 300 that was very stiff to engage though .

@bigbaiter the 400 fits better in my hands . And I can use it to do more things . The 400 does everything the 300 can do ... and then some and you don’t lose any noticeable weight in getting the bigger real. Also when you hook up to a big pig you appreciate the 400 that much more

400 .. I went 300 then returned it for the 400 .. fell in love and got another .. the 400 is so small you might as well ... I love both of mine
