Your spendin the money on the rod dont short your self on the reel! Id deff look at the Lexa 300 absolutely awesome reels or Luna 300 something that will hold plenty of 25 or 30# mono.

Took a EPIC 2 day trip on the Pride outta Seaforth. Lost count on how many tuna I caught on the stubby so fun! Luna 300 30# Izor 8'6" LDC XXH was the perfect combo!

Reels are top notch for the price! Ive thrown every thin from a 1/4 oz jig to the 14oz deadtwitch n still kickin ass. I took on out to the salt to see if i could blow it up on tuna n the reel handled the lil yellow fin perfect! Deff worth the buy! I like the 7:1 for top water n tt 6:3 for jus about every thin else.
