  1. Only looking to sell as a lot at this time. I may consider splitting down the line but I'm just trying to recoup some funds from all the saddle hunting gear I bought this year and it's not really worth it for me to make multiple trips to USPS with how busy things are. I'd rather keep them than make 7 trips to the post office. Baits are: UFO - Shallow crank male gill, thrown once, like new. UFO - Wake red resin bass, thrown a few times, only a couple light chips at joints as seen in pics. 3:16 - SS freestyle sport lavender shad, like new. 3:16 - SS 6" freestyle sissy trout, like new. 3:16 - Wake Jr Kokanee, used with standard Wake Jr. wear, see pics. 3:16 - SS Kokanee workhorse, like new. 3:16 - SS trout workhorse, like new. Looking for $1550 tyd, F&F or add appropriate fees for goods and services to net $1550 to me. Only trade I'm interested in is for fifteen $100 bills plus a fifty. I won't respond to messages about splitting or you calling dibs if I ever split.
  2. For you guys fishing glides in rivers, what direction are you fishing them in relation to the current?
  3. Could send Nick at dockrat a message, he does a lot of big shad baits and is a super reliable guy. He will let you know if he's making any more big shad baits soon.
  4. I would be requesting a refund ASAP before this house of cards falls. You guys think he hasn't already spent a lot of that cash on other things and might not have a solution for this whole thing? I would be trying to get my cash before he just ghosts.
  5. I'm heading to San Antonio tomorrow for a few days and I'm thinking of bringing my travel swimbait rod and a few baits to take advantage of the time out there. Any suggestions on bodies of water to shore fish from? I'm planning on packing a ufo crank, rat, hudd gill, small glide and maybe a couple others just to cover the spread. Any suggestions on which bodies of water would be worth the effort for some shore swimbaiting would be greatly appreciated!
  6. I had fun catching snakehead on a deps bassirisky in the canals. As said, any canal there holds a ton of fish and I think you can get into peacock in the Miami area.
  7. Certainly different as you said. I bet that thing has an interesting action. I've never been a big fan of the slide jack except for throwing at docks and tulle lines.
  8. Fish arrow slide jack? I have one in largemouth color but I thought the joint was rotated 90 degrees from yours, but that's probably my bad memory... Haven't fished it in years, probably got it about 13 years ago and have it somewhere in the garage still. Even has the same paint bubbling near the tail as yours.
  9. I've drilled a small hole the diameter of a toothpick perpendicular to the tail hole on an old rago rat that only used glue for the tail, then just inserted a tail and pin it through with the toothpick. Works great.
  10. Does SU need to really control every aspect of a transaction and somehow try to police how transactions between two individuals are done? Handing money to a stranger when you don't have someone you really trust to vouch for them seems crazy to me... Probably why the only time this happened to me I paid G&S and was promptly refunded by PayPal. It's cheap insurance. If someone demands you just give them cash on their word, maybe ask them to just send the bait on the trust that you'll give them the cash when it arrives.... Can't see anyone doing that, so I don't know why it frequently happens the other way
  11. I use a clothesline thing from home depot that winds up the anchor line, swapped the clothesline with 50' of Paracord, and have a ~6# anchor on the end. The clothesline mechanism is strapped to a metal bar on my kayak. Works perfectly in lakes and rivers. You don't have to wind the line in and no mess of line on the kayak deck. I can take a picture if interested. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-40-ft-Retractable-Clothesline-72917/206094320?source=shoppingads&locale=en-US&pla&mtc=Shopping-CM-F_D29A-G-D29A-Multi-Multi-NA-NA-PLA_LIA-NA-NA-MinorAppl_Special_Buys&cm_mmc=Shopping-CM-F_D29A-G-D29A-Multi-Multi-NA-NA-PLA_LIA-NA-NA-MinorAppl_Special_Buys-71700000042813121-58700005464629311-92700067963002094&gclid=CjwKCAiA9aKQBhBREiwAyGP5lSBuEHo_gpQLz3zTekblZEbNUq4Jk4DTBl6BTGz2X__LbVvPGkFzlBoCXS4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  12. What is your solution to the problem of flipping baits? Should SU regulate the price of baits being sold here? Should eBay set a limit on what you can bid based on MSRP? Should the feds make sure Mickey doesn't increase the cost of workhorses on the next preorder? Seems like the reasonable thing is to let the market regulate itself, as it does here. What people want to pay is their own business. And people who ask $600 for a hinkle shad will be dragged until the price drops a couple bills. The system works. Don't go to a baseball game, you'll have a stroke seeing what a Coors light costs there.
  13. I have the hook reveal tripleshot 7 on my boat and I'm a big fan. Cabela's had a $100 rebate going on the reveal line for a while, worth checking there or the lowrance refurbs @chefchris mentioned.
  14. As has been said, it's a lot about what is getting the most attention, and scarcity drives prices up. The HPH has been anywhere from high $100 to over $400 and back down since I've been here. Exclusivity of a bait is more relevant than quality for some on here... It seems more the case now compared to 8 years ago, but maybe that's just my perspective. I feel like back then there were at least some unique qualities to many of the pricier baits. Now, if you can get more likes posting your mail call then it's worth another Benjamin. I used to buy and sell a lot more, these days I'm just sticking mostly to beat up baits that work for me. Just wait until someone sells an NFT of a swimbait. I barely understand what that means, but with how things are I'd be shocked if it didn't happen.
  15. Probably gone already, but go get em if not!
  16. Dockrat makes some quality gill glides that are fairly easy to get ahold of.
  17. Tracker. They're solid, affordable and capable. I had one when I was in SD and got everything from bass to yellowtail on it. Really good in the ocean out there, even took it down to Mex and it was a trooper. Just thoroughly wash it at one of the drive in self wash places and you should be fine using it in the ocean. I did for years and never had any issues with hull or trailer integrity. Carpets didn't even stain from blood if washed within the day.
  18. Shoots, wish I'd seen this, I woulda pointed you to some spots and tried to drag you out on the boat for some sturgeon or something cool. Hope you had a good time over here. Next time, pdx sliders is top notch and somewhere I always recommend. Blue star > voodoo. Really a lot of good food up here (people gotta eat to survive this weather).
  19. Smith chromapop lenses are real nice.
  20. Good thing people flipping definitely couldn't just blur the name in a photo.
  21. Did he stop with the red resin? The only ufo I've received (waiting on one from the last IG drop) was from around 2 years ago and has the red resin, which I love. I figured it would be his new normal... it was a pretty slick move for resin baits. Bummer if he stopped doing that.
  22. I haven't had to do this, but you could try drilling a really small hole midline bottom of the bait to drain, then fill this hole and whatever cracks with 3m 5200 sealant. I don't know if that'll bond to the bullshooter but worth a try if you don't get a better suggestion. Good luck and post up if you try anything.
  23. Making your own baits from a mold you do isn't stealing. Selling baits you make from a burned mold is pretty different. Also, re: house flipping, at least for 100k profit you need to do improvements or sit on the property a couple years. Anyways, cool baits and glws. I'm not in it for that price, but at least you're not making it a PM auction. If someone wants to pay that for some plastic fish, why does anyone else care? We should all be shamed by society for how much we spend to catch fish we immediately put back
