  2. You could think of them as slow float and fast float, similarly to slow sink vs. fast sink. One rises up slowly and usually dives deeper upon the retrieve, and the other bobs back up to the surface quickly/ is very buoyant
  3. That's a sick slammer, I'd of kept it too if I were you
  4. So this is why the stupid replacement nego tails are 30$ on the roman made site..... Here is what is posted under the price on the webpage: "Unfortunately with all the people trying to copy the Roman Made Negotiators and Tricks, while using our tails, we were forced to raise the price on these tails to keep people from producing the lures. If you have had an issue with a tail falling off please email us and we can discuss a replacement tail."
  5. I usually let the wind determine what I throw when it's hot during the middle of the day. I've had luck with glides if its windy, but have had more fish commit to slower-swimming baits if there isn't a ripple on the water. The large bottom hook rising son is my confidence bait when the conditions are tough
  6. Dude what size trebles are those??
  7. Watched these yesterday, once you know what each lip/tail combo does you kinda gotta just feel it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xk1rirv5trU] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwRCbySP_pk Video credit: crazybassfisher
  8. I've been fishing my 5" tt stubby on an 806 fury the past few weeks. Throwing a gantarel and gigantarel is comfortable on it as well
  9. Hangers, eyes, and ID on the head are all the same/very close to 22nd's baits now
  10. Free bump, if I was lefty I'd be all over this
  11. Oliver Ngy has been posting allot of videos on YouTube about smallmouth fishing, I believe some of it is in Ontario. They're like 6 parts to the series Big Smallmouth Dreams, I know he uses conventional tackle allot but it could give you an idea of which spots to target, etc. Just a thought, I found some of it entertaining
  12. I did this with a white 68 rof 12, it spins nicely and should be a great night time bait as well
  13. It's a good bit smaller than a hinkle, my cousin has one and it's got a nice erratic glide to it. I would personally go with a Phoney if you're going to spend close to 150
  14. What's the sink rate on that bad larry?
  15. I love watching them come and chase it down, white baits are getting bit everywhere it seems like! Nice fish
  16. Score one for the pond hoppers! I like the edit on that picture too
  17. I've never heard of them personally, what do they go for (ballpark)? I looked and saw MonsterPondBass got one a while back, maybe he has some experience with it and could chime in. They look pretty sweet
  18. I know this doesn't hang the baits, but I put some cut memory foam mattress toppers into the top and bottom of mine and the baits stay put exactly where you put them when you close it. Holds around 10 250's and is 25$ online, plus waterproof and floats, I can stand on mine
  19. To BB rig a hudd, wouldn't you have to straighten out the tiny hook keeper to stick it into the foam harness? If not then I imagine it would rip the skin with 1 or 2 fish, someone else should try it out before I spend 6$ on a single hook haha
