Good sign if you see any game fish that are eating baitfish . Cause If catfish are feeding on baitfish in an area I'm willing to bet there some largemouth / small mouth / spotted bass (what ever is in your state of lake)

I changed to st41's and a bigger split ring . I think I used 2/0 st41's and I can't remember split ring size ... 6...... Mabey 7 ? And have great success . You could get away with 1/0 st41s but I perfer 2/0

I also feel they would break easier. But have never tried them .

My friend loves being able to track his deps bull shooter in the waterthe white spot on the head of his came factory painted . He casted it off and we came back a couple hours later and sure enough there was three bass staring straight at his bait sitting on a rock pile , after I got on of the fish on my deps . He said I'm going in ... He got the bait . The only part of the bait we could see was the white spot on the nose / head . And without the white spot . We wouldve never found that bait .

If you've got a conventional plastic bait like a worm,craw , or something like that... Cut a chunk of plastic ( worm ect ..) and put that piece or pieces into then place where the hole is and mend it with your choice of soft bait glue , to the rest of the bait . Dont use super glue. I hope this helps . I did this when I had a big piece taken out of my 8" hud and it's still going strong . 5 months later. Good luck !

I love this bait I started throwing them at night at an urban pond in complete darkness(Summer and winter ) . I have caught a few fish on it but also have crash casted it a couple times In the dark . On concrete embankments and IT'S FINE ! Catches fish , nothing's broken , swims amazing . My paint is not held up the best but it holds up pretty well. Will try to post a couple pics tonight. The tail can be pretty hard to get out . So I just leave stock tail on .
