There's river access along the back of rio Americano high school where there's some little ponds off the river. I've heard of some people catching large mouth out of there, haven't fished it myself though.

Thanks guys. I've been throwing the 9" for several weeks now but haven't hit anything over 2.5lbs... It does get eatin though. I decided to throw the 7" because it was a calm night at the pond.

Killed it off the corner of a dock and gave it a twitch... First fish on the 7" yet the biggest slammer fish I've caught.

I was able to get out to the pond for about an hour with my brother. We by both started throwing our weedless 68s but after about 30 mins of nothing I decied to downsize and go with a weedless shad. About half a dozen casts in something takes it, dropping it off of a weedline... I swung back and hauled in my new PB!

There's a couple more colors of the nez up... Greaser and jawbreaker.

Had several good days fishing the weedless 68 and the 3:16 mission fish! Biggest was a 5.5 on the mission fish.
