Hi SU! On the search for a Roman Made Mother… I’ve seen quite a few go between $200-280 based on condition and was looking for something in that range. Ideally looking more for Roman Made’s natural green baitfish colors in stock paint like their trout variations or their wrapped bass/trout colors. But heck if you have one that doesn’t fit the color description I listed above but would still like to put out an offer, shoot me a PM! Worst I can say is no thank you. Thanks for lookin! Best, Nicky

Hi SU! I’m looking for a very specific color 250 (saiko trout) in preferably new condition, but I wouldn’t be opposed to one that’s not in too bad of shape. As always, bait has to be mechanically sound too. I’ve got a couple other similar colors but looking at hopefully filling in a very specific gap with this color. If you have one you’d like to part with, send me a message! I’ll leave a picture of the color down below for ya. Thanks! Best, Nicky

Hey SU! I’m looking to buy a few things. 1) OG Baitsmith mag in lighter trout colors 2) New Hawghunter in Cali Chrome preferably but if you have any lighter colored trout mags that you’d like to sell, can’t hurt to send a PM! Let me know if you’ve got one you’d like to sell! Feel free to message me. Thanks! -Nicky

Hi SU! I'm looking to buy a phoney glide in the SS sink rate. Ideally I'd like to go for the bluegill color but I'm open to other colors too. Preferably a new or lightly used bait but if you'd like to part with a weathered bait I'm open to offers too. As long at the bait swims well and doesn't nose up! Shoot me an offer! Thank you! Nicky

Hey Derek did you snap the Hinkle off or break it off on structure? I swam for a bait awhile back in 42 degree water but if you snapped it off and know your general zone where it was buy a cheap net with a wide hoop width. Tie your line to the handle and tie a torpedo to the end of the hoop. I’d be dragging a net around if your Hinkle wasn’t stuck on some crazy piece of structure. But that’s just my 2 cents without knowledge of how that bait was lost/the type of structure. Hope you get it back dude!

Max is awesome! Super fast, crystal clear communication, and a very nice guy.

I had a feeling that it wouldn't bond . It would've completely destroyed it... Big apology Don! Thanks Wayne for catching it quick before disaster!

Hey Don what about those Z-man elaztec baits? I'm not sure if they'll bond but supposedly they're super stretchy and strong.

Thanks Rod! I was thinking the hudd might be the upper end of the spectrum but I'm sure it'll throw it! Thanks!

Hey guys, I've saved up for a rod to chuck the 10" hudd (mine weighs about 7 and a half ounces). I've been looking at the Black Diamond 869H or a blank but Phenix of that nature around the same price range. Does anyone have this rod? And if there's a better blank around the same price by Phenix, which would you recommend for the 10" hudd specifically but possibily lighter boats like the 250? Thanks SU! Nicky

Hey guys! I haven't been able to find a weight on an ROF 5 10" hudd and I don't have a scale that'll weight accurately with less than a pound of weight. Does anyone happen to know how heavy an ROF 5 10" hudd weighs? I know fast stink mag is about 6oz so I'm thinking the hudd is about 7.5-8oz? Thanks SU! Nicky

I'm just resurrecting this thread so I don't clutter the boards but, I bought a reel from Dave. A true class A guy. Super fast communication, and true to his word. Thanks Dave!

Can I use a swim bait bigger than what is recommended for my rod?
Nicky replied to randystclair's topic in The Underground
Tie your lure onto that rod and go through the casting motion slowly. You'll feel the tip load and the backbone kick in. Then you'll be able to gauge if that rod does or doesn't have the beefy to chuck that lure. Often times it won't be able to but it's worth a shot. I actually have an older Daiwa Zillion swimbait stick and even though it's rated 1/2-2oz, it'll can chuck the lighter ROF 0 and 5 8" hudds quite well. I believe tackletour had the same results as well. Good luck! Nicky
