  1. Keep up the good work. Also, what brand possum bait it that?
  2. Everyone makes a huge deal about the storage, when in reality all you have to do is be careful when you store them in whatever you have. Just make sure you never pinch the fins or leave them in an awkward position for too long and you're good to go!
  3. Hudds: the gift that keeps on giving.
  4. Jitterbugs work best on calm mornings. Provides an explosive top water bite that you will never forget!
  5. When the groundhog see his shadow, he makes every angler pissed off

  6. Congrats on the fish! See you're using a Cardiff I believe. If so, nice reel choice!
  7. Try to find an environmentally safe glitter paint to shine up that tail. Will provide a more life-like image and give better visibility for those cloudy day. Other than that its a creative way to fix a Hudd!
  8. Hey Guys, I rigged all my Huddleston's Butch Brown style on my 8 incher's, but I was wondering what knots you guys use for tying your line straight on. I have both 25 lb. Trilene Big Game as well as 30lb. P-Line CXX. Can you guys help me out regarding which line would be better and what knot to use? Thanks, Jeff
  9. They are weed less but I'm assuming that everyone will rig them Butch Brown style. I would prefer weed less and they are sold out on Huddbaits.com but you can find them on Ebay or Tackle Warehouse shortly.
  10. You can usually find resin on ebay or at your local hardware store. Miniwax actually sells an outdoor suitable resin that I have used on baits for years with a clear finish.
  11. From the album: Untitled Album

7 lb last spring on a Hudd
  12. Huddleston just came out with four different types of bluegill/crappie swimbaits but they already sold out (go figure). TW has some for sale around 20-25 $.
  13. PIGSSSS! Night fishing is always a great time! Congrats!
  14. I think the rod itself is a tad too big. For bomb casts you usually want a heavy action with a quick tip. I use the 7'11" okuma guide select and the thing casts a mile. Braid is excellent for long casts but I wouldn't go over 65 lb Suffix 832 or Power Pro there is really no need. I can chuck Hudds and Castaic's a mile on 30lb P-Line just fine. Don't use braid for Swimbaits use a heavy mono like 25 lb (Trilene Big Game or P-Line CXX)
  15. I recently bought a Shimano 400A because of the line capacity. I threw some 30 lb P-Line on it and will fish some 8 inch hudds and deps. Pairs perfect with an Okuma Guide Select 7' 11" XH to catch lunkers.
