  1. We been getting some good ones the last couple weeks on the Derty D. All fish coming on top water. Delta Wood Bombers and IMA Bigstick been doing most of the damage. Pretty stoked it's only Sept. and we are already seeing some quality fish in the system.
  2. I have a G2 Punker 8". Custom paint by Cornfed Customs in Bluegill pattern. Bait is 10/10. Looking to trade for Bull Shooter or partial trade towards a Hiro Gill. Will entertain other trade offers, not looking to sell at the moment.
  3. Very nice, way to think out of the box. You should try a Flat Fall jig next! For all you guys that are unfamiliar...the jig pictured is a very popular color pattern called "Bird Sh!t"
  4. That's badass!! I remember seeing a episode of "Zona's Awesome fishing Show" and they were catching those on TW with bass gear. Pretty much getting their ass kicked, but the blow ups were out of control! What kind of set up did you use to land that one?
  5. The spring run is heating up! No huge hens yet, but the size is getting better by the day. We got a handful of nice ones on DWB 6" plugs, as well as the SS175.
  6. Pmid is such a bad ass lake! Any cast could result in a world record Lahontan Cuttie! I'll definitely have to pack the swimbaits next weekend.
  7. I can't say what gonna work for the beaches, but I will share what works in the Delta.. Small/Med baits: S-Waver 168 and 200, Deps 175, Savage gear glide swimmer Big Bait: Deps 250, Rago Glideator, Hirshima trout, Matts Strong Shad 7.5 Hope this helps
  8. Congrads! Memories to last alifetime!
  9. New species! Cross it off the list!
  10. Great fish! Looks a hell of a lot bigger than 10Lbs..
  11. Badass! Great year. That Mackinaw(lake trout) is a toad, looks to be pushing 20#, did you catch that up shallow? Out here in CA we have to use downriggers to get down 30-200ft deep to get em.
  12. Great vid! In the beginning wasn't sure if you were making baits or cooking dope. I been out to Methal Island a few times...LOL! I'll have to check out some of your baits ASAP, I like to support local builders. I'm from Lodi and my home marina is Korth's. Keep up the good work and tight lines.

    TOAD! Conrgads on the PB
  14. Ok thank's i'll text you today Thursday
  15. I've got a near new Rago Glideator. 11" Rainbow trout
  16. My #1 stick for the last 3 years. Landed 5-6 stripers over 20lb no prob. Few over 30. Works well for other applications as well. I've used it for spooning fall run salmon. Also works good for 4-7" hammers for Lingcod. Great all around rod.
  17. The Nekked DWBs are some of the best. Carlo turns less than 20 of those a year and they sell fast. Stripers love em too!
  18. Thats awesome! Funny story...I had friend fishing a kayak bass tourney out of Sugar Barge on Sat. My buddys GF caught two salmon 10 and 12# on back to back casts. She was fishing a jerkbait against the rocks. They didn't know the regs either and kept both fish. FYI salmon can only be kept above the HWY12 bridge in the Moke river. That's above B&W.
  19. Great editing. Once in a lifetime fish!
  20. That's a TOAD in any state! If I had to take a guess...Looks like upper 20's...26-28lbs. We're on the brink of our fall striper run on the CA Delta. We had some giant swirls on Top Water this week, just no takers. Hoping for a few fish like that in the coming weeks.
  21. 8" punkers for sale? don't see them listed
  22. I'll mainly be casting heavy baits. 8" Hudd, 10" glides and some big topwater plugs for stripers. Got the Toro paired up with a Phenix UMBX Classic SB rod, 8' H. It's pretty damn stiff and hard to load up. And, yeah I cast pretty damn hard, without fear. I've been kind of spoiled recently fishing all Diawa Tatulas, the T-wing system casts a country mile. When I cast the Toro only getting 75% the distance.. I've got a friend who's a reel guy service all my reels every 4-6months. The CA Delta is getting more and more brackish and the salt will take it's toll if your not vigilant about maintenance. I've never noticed any gains in distance, even on a freshly serviced reel.
  23. Anyone done it? I've got a ABU Toro NaCL I'm looking to get more distance on the cast. I've heard good things about the Boca brand ceramic Abec5 and Abec7. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
