They sure do kick like crazy once you get em dialed for sure!! I had custom lips made for mine with a little tongue on em to get em deeper into head than they look. I think it made a big diff in its stability and and action.

I would agree with above statement. Line tie lower and closer to lip might help with depth and stability. I made a 3 and 2 piece shad deep diver a few years back. Got it down to 10-12 on reg cast. I long lined it on the regular and could get it down to 15-17.

Dead on plastisol. I use the craw/tube type and add hardener to get the desired firmness. -

Thank you. -
What’s up everyone. Hope you all are enjoying the 4th holiday weekend. Happy bday America! So I wanted a slimmer profile shad type bait. Certain lake in the area is on a good reaction bait bite. I’ve been getting a few good ones on my original shad bait but wanted a different profile. So here they are. New shad body. The 3 piece is a lipless floater. Slow med retrieve leaves a nice wake. Burns great too. Glide is a ROF 1. It almost suspends. Gonna be so deadly around bluff walls and flooded cover. Very excited to get them on the water this week for some chunks! No details yet. Will carve gills and all after I test a bit more. Enjoy the holiday and the freedom it brings!
