That tutorial is pretty weak, bad info and hard to watch. Find you a fly tyer who knows what he's doing and have some fun with it.

If you have a fly shop close, drop in and explain what you are looking for. They can help you get started (highly recommended) or hook you up with someone who can tie up exactly what you want. Fly tier's in general are pretty friendly people and love to help others get started.

From what I have read on this thread I would be more concerned about getting my money back than waiting on a rod. He is beyond the catch up threshold if all these post are accurate as to wait times. Good luck.

Tossing them comfortably and setting the hook effectively are 2 totally different things. The stiffest rod you can comfortably toss them with will only help when its time to stick it to em. I was missing a good number of strikes tossing them on MH rods. Then I went to H action and hook ups are way better.

The whole pricing thing with add 4% for paypal is just goofy to me. Figure it in your price and be done with it. Its called the cost of doing business. You don't have to go get a money order and then wait to send it or receive it. Most times if someone will come off their asking price, I always send em the money for shipping if they are standup about getting the goods in the mail when they say they will.
