    It may have Rustoleum 2x clear which, in my experience, tends to react with pretty much any soft plastic out there. I've never tried to layer a different clear coat over the Rustoleum clear, but perhaps you could use something such as the KBS Diamond Clear in the aerosol can. Either that or send it off to get sanded down/repainted. Good luck!

    I've also had this problem recently. I ran into a number of 3-4lb spotted bass, but the problem was they were all either head shotting my glide or slapping the side instead of getting the hooks. I did try adding a nose hook, but as @Csweitzer said I feel like the extra hook stopped the fish from biting all together. Perhaps a smaller, less prominent hook would work better? All I can say is that I was extremely frustrated that day haha

    Got back out on the water and ran into a good run of trout. My brothers and I caught a few trout and then saw something bigger chasing them down near the surface. My brother picked up his glide, chucked it out, and proceeded to get two hits fairly quickly. I tossed out my smaller glide and this 5lber smacked it on the pause. There were a few bigger ones out there that I hope to run into next time!
