Looking for a Deps Slide Swimmer 250 flash carp (please NO sk conversions or shudder tails) but might (again might) do another color such as Wild Carp or Butch Brown Bass. Not looking to spend too much and if this doesn't work i will just try eBay. Thanks.

I was walking along the bank of a large pond looking for bed-fish when i saw a little male (about 1.5lbs) next to a log sticking up. But something caught my eye about it. I glanced back and I realized that the log was a 6lb largemouth hovering over a bed. I flipped in a craw bait on a jig head but the fish showed no interest. I casted in my friends Deps 250 and the fish hated it. She nailed it, nipped at it and almost ate it, but she didn't. Finally I picked up my Deps 175 and she nailed it. Shattering my previous PB (5lbs 6oz) she weighed in at 6 pounds on the dot on 3 different scales. Some of the pictures are sideways, I'm not sure why.

I believe the rut is coming to a close soon if it already hasn't but I will be heading out this weekend to try and down a big one!

Went night fishing with a buddy the other day and was determined to catch my first slammer fish. After I slowly swam the bait and gave it a twitch, the fish hammered the bait at about the full length of my caster making it a very fun fight. Can't wait to get back out there again!
